Could stem cells be the key to immortality? Would we really want to live forever? I'm still on the fence regarding stem cell research. Although it could potentially help millions of people suffering from different diseases, what are the downsides? What will the net gain be? A runanway and accelerating world overpopulation? What are the potentials for abuse? (If there are any, they surely will be abused.) To me, it's a bit of a Pandora's box. Dunno... more philosophizing needed.

this means I have a 10 year younger body - one that limps, creaks, cracks, has trouble breathing, won't process sugar, and we won'' even go near "elimination".

Guess I am lucky -- imagine if it was it's real age!

I like the stem cell idea -- imagine how it would impact on the health care industry! Talk about monumental change.

No, it means that except for a few bits (DNA ie) your whole body is maybe only 7-10 years old! Weird, don't you think? .

(The aches and pains of old age are because the building blocks constantly being replaced just aren't of such a good quality anymore.)
