When computer translation services (like Babelfish) are perfected the drug prescription labeler should be able to print out instructions in most languages and dialects. idle = ideal , ha ha We are becoming a 'de-literalized zone! Trouble is many of the automatic translating services available furnish you with some really bad translations... I spend a lot of time correcting translations from Italian to English for quite a few pubblic service counters (social welfare, day hospital, emergency, trade union..etc...)... I don't think anyone on these translation sites does any cross-checking or even checks-out the curriculum of their on-line translators.... In this era of mass migration, even translation services have become something the pubblic presume is just another article tou pick off a virtual supermarket shelf... Anyone can come along and offer their services... even the judges feel they can't stop to get someone t... |
