The 'justice' system is often very cruel. It does not care about people or the individual as much as some theoretical principle and with all this compounded by the criminal concepts and policies of the White House, it's worse.

I can assure you though that many, many americans are 'mad as hell,' and feel we need to elect better leaders and kick out the bad ones (when and where we can) and did an overwhelmingly good job of that in our last elections and looks like we're going to do it again.

There are also many law professors and political leaders who have challenged the growing fascist acts of the administration and will certainly continue to do so.

Other than breaking Jose Padilla out of jail or dragging George Bush out of the White House by his hair there are no other choices but using the democratic process as well as working to improve that process so things don't get in such a bad state again.

And Padillia? Well, I hope he gets credit for time served and when he gets out of jail he can go on speaking tours.
