It's been using memory like crazy on my computer. It uses upwards of 200 MB even after its closed. config.trim_on_minimize doesn't work either, it manages to shoot back up after a couple of seconds. Too bad, its starting to look like a decent browser! Will Clipmarks work on 0.9 Flock? It did on earlier versions but not on this one. Were you able to clip from this new Flock, smanofsteel76? Whenever I try to install Clipmarks on Flock 0.9.0 I get this message: Clipmarks 2.0.5 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Flock 0.9.0 (Clipmarks 2.0.5 will only work with Flock versions 0.4 to 0.8) Disable compatibility checking ginge! gingembre, no I had to clip this in Firefox. I assume that when Flock 0.9 is actually finally released, Clipmarks will update the extension. Don't forget people this is a preview beta. Rock on! Thanks, smanofsteel76. I'm not as frustrated now. @sohil: Thanks for the tip, but I don't see how to disable compatibility checking. For a split second I can read that "checking for compatibility..." when trying to install Clipmarks, which makes sense considering your tip, but then I'm at a loss. Sorry about that, It's been some time since I tinkered with the Firefox config! For some weird reason I thought that option would be visible. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Updating_extensions#Disabling_update_checks_for_individual_add-ons_-_Advanced_users |
