So given such an obvious moral evil, where was the divine guidance this church claims?

He sounds like he is still a very stupid and ignorant man.

Um... you're the CHURCH. You are PRIESTS. If "it's morally wrong and sinful" isn't enough of a reason not to do something, what is???

I live in Milwaukee, and, though, I'm a former catholic, I nevver liked Weakland. Furthermore, I was an altar boy for several years and never got hit on by a priest (my abuse experience was non-sexual), so maybe I can sue them for the damage to my self-esteem.

I copped the brutality but not the sex side. Thinking back to that period has to be done selectively.
If you sued them over damage to self esteem Jorjor, you would probably be told that as a child, you were not meant to have any self esteem.
