I've written several times to protest the seal hunts, papananook, and will continue to do so despite the stubborn resolve of seal hunters and their supporters to persist in the barbaric slaughters. None of the arguments given in favor of the seal hunts--tradition, economic need, cod depletion--hold up to even minimal scrutiny in this modern era. The seal hunters and their supporters are simply a bloodthirsty, inhumane lot. Bah!

Shame on Canada for allowing the hunts to continue!
