masbury says:
How very, very cheap - taking those who disagree with HIM and labeling them slanderers of AMERICA. He attempts to manipulate people who want to be patriotic into sitting down, shutting up, and asking no questions about his abuse of power, so he can do whatever he wants with their money.

Uh...you know there are those who think the court was wrong including 4 of the justices. And once again I must remind you that those people are not americans, They aren't entitled to our rights.

We believe that "all men ... are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights."
And thinking the Court was wrong is far different than accusing those who agree with it of slandering America. This is the ever-present, thinly veiled accusation of lack of patriotism that Bush says he never brings up. Slandering America = not patriotic or loyal.

Sam, you do miss the point again. This piece is about Bush's cheap attempt to shut down disagreement by labeling it slander. It is vintage Bush, echoing the days of "If you're not with us, you're against us."

He'll be fine - the oil companies will protect him. He just has to make sure he doesn't go hunting with Cheney.

Sillysam - They aren't "Our Rights." The constitution grants NO rights. Really. Not a talking point. Check it out.
