I read this after seeing the unforgettable photos in another of Sohil's clips, and the question asked so often "why can't we do the same thing?" The only answer I can think of is that we can, but it may take some time, and we need to change the way we think about other people. We have to dissolve some of the categories, that we have created for the sake of demographics and inadequate summary,maintaining the illusion that we know what is going on on the strength of a glance.

Prejudice can be a group concept. "Cats and Dogs" allegedly don't get on, but if Fido and Puss are introduced early, Fido will think he is a cat and Puss will think she is a dog or something like that. The differences won't be important because nothing has happened to make them important, and it's easier to deal with a house-mate you, know. We have trouble with the "Us and Them",collective, being prepared to consider people as a group rather than individuals. When we consider people on a one to one basis, to the point where we actually know the person, prejudice, can disappear, and connection based on similarity of idea and emotion, can be established. It cannot be done with a group or collective, it needs to be an expansion throughout humanity of one on one relationships. A strengthening of Emotional, Philosophical, and Personal links until we have a network that has the capacity to be constructive.
