I see a lot of classic texts on there, but contemporary, more recent literature is scarcer. I think that has to do with us, in the present, not *yet* being able to gauge how influential some books may be. Also, I note that this is largely a list of non-fiction. I would've included an influential sci-fi novel like Dune, on there, for raising many important ideas about ecology and being human (or beyond what we perceive as human) that've been influential to this day, or at least, parodied — in many cases with people not knowing what the source text was. I wonder what criteria was used by the compiler to rank these. I wolu add: *El Manual de Carreño *El Libro de Scannone *The Open Vains of Latinamerica And a grammar book where you can realize that "woul" is not correct. You should use WOULD, instead. Thanks |
