When will the American people stand up and say enough!? Why weren't we insistent *before* we arrived at this point? So typical of human nature...let's just wait till things are really bad and then we *have* to do something.

No kidding. Dems just came to power and I see my gas expense rising (it wasn't that high when republicans were in power). Good connection!. I think I'm going to become republican soon, can't afford this high gas prices.

Yet, for nearly a decade an a half the prices stay pretty stable and all of the sudden shoot up just after a certain invasion to an oil rich nation.

But I'm sure their not related. That and that the oil companies have said that they don't want or need more refineries and are ripping windfall profits because of it.

Oh sure! I'm gonna join the party of the Oil Barons... (R)...! Stinkin' Bush and Cheney promised the oil companies they would raise prices back in 2001 and now we see them keep their promise...all who voted for these bastards now get to pay $4 a gallon to keep the decider in office...and Iraq was going to pay off its war debt with oil revenue? Heh...
