fewstingscorpio says: Will all use them, unless we sleep on hay...then that's hay count. http://www.hardtofindsheets.com/wordpress/2007/10/22/bed-sheets-the-truth-about-thread-count.htm I think it's the quality of the thread used that makes a difference too. tanyamm looks like you are right. I followed the link and the article does go into greater detail about the quality of thread. The clipping seems to be cut short and the article explains much more than shown here. We use Organics for our bedding and they can be pricey. This site does offer them for sale and we may try them out............... I always wish I was allowed to clip more. Let us know how it goes if you order from them. fewstingscorpio - I see what you are saying. (I am a new user and this is really cool) Very interesting clips you have there : ) I am enjoying them. Oh and we actually ordered organic sheets and a mattress protector (organic of course) yesterday and already received a tracking # Looks like they will be here soon! Can't wait. Do your research when purchasing bedding. You need to make sure that you are purchasing single ply thread count. So, for instance, 1000 thread count sheets may be double ply which really means they are a 500 TC sheet...i.e. false advertising. If you want a true 1000 Thread Count sheet make sure it is single ply and know where it is manufactured (or any sheets for that matter). I have gotten great advise from www.elegantlinenspc.com/1000TC-Bed-Sheets.htm. You really do get what you pay for and investing in nice bedding is well worth it! |
