Bradley McClure petitions for pardon - signed 2 July 1883.  (at Nov 1877 term, he had been convicted of rape of SALLIE ALLEN and sentenced to 10 years.  He has conducted himself well in prision and the evidence on his conviction ws unreliable)<BR /><DIV>
  found in Box Labeled "Miscellaneous M(1886-1888)</DIV>
   
If there is anymore information Sallie Allen, I would appreciate it.  I am not sure if she is my family or not.
Do not know what River Counties is or where located.  would appreciate more description of Sallie Allen, where she lived and personal info, if you have it.
