papananook says: It's time to hit the streets in massive numbers and show our outrage and disapproval. Go to your local demonstration or D.C. in September. Keep clipping and blogging too. The freedom to share information has not been destroyed yet. Thanks for the comeback and encouragement, cptenaud...after reading your short bio, i sense a kindred spirit..I, too turned 59 in July on the 2nd...but i am not a vet. I refused induction in '71 and have been fighting the war machine ever since...i see this current senseless war as a continuing process of the MIC...same war, different idiots running the show for profit. Just so you know, i never disrespected or turned my back on my brothers who served in 'Nam, and have many friends who are vets. I was lucky (?) to be aware enough at the age of 21 to stand down when they told me to step forward, a matter of conscience. It took years but i even reconciled with my Dad who was a WWII Marine and ... Well, Everything is Bush's fault according to many baffled people. Well, friend...Not everything...but name me ONE damn thing he's done RIGHT or beneficial...he's definitely not alone in the criminal behavior of this Admin. but he IS the DECIDER, right? Uh, BTW, who's baffled? He managed to trick the American people into voting for him...twice! Uh, BTW, who's baffled?More than you know. Many more than you know. When everyone has the inside scoop and the 'real' story people have the choice of believing whatever 'version' they want. There is a thing known as disinformation. we should all DEMAND that the MSM quit publishing propaganda and "fluff" stories, and for a change, try telling the truthHere's another way to do it as well. Send them a letter. When everyone has the inside scoop and the 'real' story people have the choice of believing whatever 'version' they want. There is also a thing known as fact. Since we know, because of Clipmarks, Bush and Cheney drink the blood of Iraqi Children, maybe the idea that a "version" of the truth exists is where we all fall off the Peace Train. There is no version of the truth, there is only perception of the truth. Perception is subjective but it does not alter the fact. He managed to trick the American people into voting for him...twice!Hmm... now can we really be sure about that? [url=http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/C34E69C8-1912-480E-9F03-6B7752A12D34[Pretty Slick, Huh?[/url] I'll try again... check out this clip of debbyski's: http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/C34E69C8-1912-480E-9F03-6B7752A12D34 Thanks for the link...i'll write, tncbt... Wilhelm, i'm not gettin your point---are you sayin' that Bush is NOT a murderer, or what? I'm not makin' a semantical argument here--i've been on the Peace train forever--i'm accusing our Fuhrer of murder, whether he drinks blood is irrelevant, even metaphorically. This war, Bush/Cheney's war, is killing more 100's of civilians every day by air and land...we, as a nation are murdering, even tho we don't condone or support it...IT MUST STOP! THAT'S A FUCKING FACT FOR YOU~ I pushed the stop button twice but mine must be broken. Sometimes perceptions are what lead us to be locked up in mental wards. Papananook; Thanks for your message. But I would like to tell you A little more of my real life. I joined the Marines because I was a high school drop out. And I joined because of the blue uniform. But you don’t get the blue uniform. You have to buy it. Lesson Learned to late. Then I went to Vietnam and was blown up 2 times Shot once all on separate occasions. This was in a period of 10 months. 3 purple hearts but yet again to learn a lesson. You get one Purple heart medal and two gold stars. Cheap bastards. But I also learned in that 10 months, that we were not helping these People. I saw Mercenaries torture and kill a small village. I saw farmers shot dead and Aks were planted to indi... CPTENAUD--Thanks for sharing that...i won't pretend to know what you went thru...i'm just glad you survived, brother, and were able to see thru the lies. I admire your courage and outspoken truth. The day i refused to serve was a very surreal one--out of 300+ inductees, 26 of us refused...I only wish i could have talked more of those young men out of going, poor, black, white, Latino men who had no idea what their Gov't was doing to them. Now, it baffles me why anyone would join the armed services to fight for the failed imperialism of Bush/Cheney. I's certainly not fighting for "Freedom", it's a travesty of lies within lies. Keep on speaking truth and sharing, Brother... write me @ my email if you feel like it. |
