If he felt that way it`s because something bad happened there . I lived in a house like that when I was little. Me and my brothers. When we grew up , my brother, who had loved the house as much as I did, could not stay in it very long. He was so scared he had to leave. When I went back the house was gone, torn down.

Yet he had no personal attachment to the house. I suggest he has a good imagination. How would events that occurred in the house prior to his visit affect him unless he was aware of them?

I think a house for example can hold trace memories of strong emotions of events that occurred in it. For instance the house we lived in, the hired man of the previous owner had disappeared no one had seen him leave. He did leave behind everything he owned. The house was 17 miles out of town. What happened to him?
