Yep, he is. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is the wealthiest organization for charitable grants. It's assests are over 29 Billion USD

To help people is a good thing and share money with the poors is a virtuous act; but it wonder me to think that a private foundation it is more rich than the countries it helps. My question is: can it happen that while you help with one hand the poor country, with the other (bigger) hand you determine his policy? Does it sound democratic?
