Language of the week: Russian

I wanted to start this new blog to help people who visit other countries and cultures to get the best out of those places.

A knowledge of a language, however small, always helps you an incredible amount when visiting another country.

I tried teaching myself Russian when I was about 16, with a pile of books .. it was quite difficult, and I eventually threw in the towel
