merrie says: One day after announcing a challenge to U.S. Senate fixture Arlen Specter, Congressman Joe Sestak faced another tough cookie: Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert. Colbert asked if military people were unaware of this because of secret experiments. Sestak explained he meant that members of the military make great use of their health-care and educational benefits. To access article click on title The Democrats trying to pin their thuggery onto the pubs is ridiculous. It's the same with liberals pinning their own racism and hatred onto conservatives. It's ridiculous and they act as though no one notices. The only problem for conservatives is that liberals scream like sissies, they scream the loudest and there are a lot of ignorant people who would be anything, including the DNC is actively conspiring with Al Qaeda, Mel Gibson was framed by a Zionist cabal, and Bill Clinton is actually a latent homosexual. That's how stupid the libs sound. I feel idiotic just writing that. Sheesh. above: "who would believe anything" My brain is running faster than I can type. This childish behavior is disgusting on so many levels: we are adults not children, we are Americans striving for a better future for everyone, we are humans evolved beyond animalistic posturing where only the physically strongest rules the tribe. Meaningful debate is the only way this nation will move forward. What incentives are there for town hall meetings and/or open discussion if they will always turn into free-for-alls where nothing gets done? Why even have the pretense of town hall meetings when it is clear that they have no intention of listening to any constituents who disagree with them? Obama and all the democrats in Washington have been trying to sell Obamacare to the public, but a majority aren't buying it. It's now time for the politicians to sit down, shut up, and listen to their bosses and not the other way around. After all, do we work for them, or do they work for us? |
