Heh. Ralph Nader cost Al Gore the ticket back then and will do it again to Obama. Heh. It's not Nader on any ballots, most likely it will be Ron Paul, who is already on the ballot in Nevada and in Louisiana he is on with Barry Goldwater Jr.! Nice! http://bumperstickers.cafepress.com/item/dr-ron-paul-goldwater-cool-political/293524763 Get your bumper sticker here! This time around there are two former Republicans siphoning off votes from the party. Nader is not even on the radar. Well, I know about some of the state ballots, it will have to wait until tomorrow to find out what the press conference is about exactly, I am hopeful that it will be along the lines of Paul's name being put on the ballots in place of Barr, Baldwin, etc., I heard something about a rule where he can remain a republican, yet be on ballots as 3rd party if the candidate who is running places his name instead of theirs, some ballot rules to that effect. Again this is still speculation for the other states. If they press the FEC rules, or even if Obama did, McCain could be taken off of the Ohio ballots, which would be incredible, because we all know how Ohio can turn an election! Update: Damnit, it's sounding like Paul will not go 3rd party. Still he has been placed on ballots... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTCskE1m3kI |
