I loved your post. In the 1990s somewhere, I had to go to South Korea. I was constantly under the protective eyes of my South Korean hosts. They made sure I was properly berthed at the Soul Palace Hotel. When one day I slipped out of my room just to have a stroll around the block, my hosts panicked becausemy stroll passed dangerously close to the DMZ. My friend Mr. Lee had connections and got me to the head of the line boarding a Korean Air Line jet non stop to Los Angeles. Going out to a restaurant to eat dinner was fun. However, when I saw an entry that looked nice on the menu, my hosts said STOP !! do not order that. I later found out that this was dog meat. The Koreans loved... Thanks for sharing, that was interesting! Insulting view through an ignorant person's eyes. |
