I read that article earlier. And based on recent events, some of Mr. Rall's projections on the future of our country are entirely plausible.

i wouldn't go that far; at least nothing more rotten than any other successful politician. and if that's so rotten, then our nation is based on that rot; as is the very nature of human society. which may well be true, but there's not a lot we can do about that.
