The incident, captured in the video above, started when the ball boy hid the ball behind an advertising board instead of handing it to the Botafogo keeper Marcao. After the two argued, the boy did his best professional wrestling routine by whacking Marcao with an iron bar that just happened to be on the field. Apparently the steel chair must have been hidden at the other end of the field.
