The internet dragnet is expanding. This subject also came up with an ACLU lawsuit saying the FBI (and State via REAL ID) are subjecting every "free American" to be part of a "virtual lineup" (like criminals) through their drivers licenses, tapped by FBI and Homeland Security, et al.

The 4th amendment stands in sharp contrast to America's new post-9/11 government and its Security State.

"Assessment" = surveillance. This is spooky:

The Mukasey guidelines, among other things, gave the FBI the authority to open investigative “assessments” of any American without any factual predicate or suspicion. Such “assessments” allow the use of intrusive techniques to surreptitiously collect information on people suspected of no wrongdoing and no connection with any foreign entity.
"Suspected of no wrong doing"....yet being "assessed"? This is legal mumbo jumbo for carte blanche surveillance!
