Once again I feel compelled to comment on what this crazy maniac has to say. I love that she accuses the Dems of not showing up in forums where they might get a hostile question. When has "W" ever done that? He lives in a bubble, completely protected. Has he ever seen the protestors? And she hates Obama because his middle name is Hussein? She is so childish it's not even funny. Does this mean I can't vote for anyone named George? Coulter is such a homophobe! I can't wait until she comes out of the closet (not that there is anything wrong with that). Now that will be funny! Travis, why do you promote this trash? I love to hear different points of view. It is part of the proce... Andy I'll give you one quick reason. Lets talk about the liberal mantra "we're losing the war in Iraq!" Idiots! The "war" in Iraq took just days. No quagmire. No "mother of all battles." Just a quick mopping up of a completely inadequate foe. I'd give liberals maybe just an inch of credibility if they were to complain about how the "occupation" of Iraq isn't going so well, is too expensive, whatever. But instead, I hear our military insulted. Time and time again. That angers ME. I see your point. But don't just blame the liberals. Bush and company all call what is currently going on "the war". Do you get mad when Bush says we are doing well in the war? I think that your idea that Liberals are insulting the military is incorrect. They all (sorry, most) support the military. I think you are looking for trouble in the semantics and you can always find trouble if you look for it. Here's an example of what I mean... A friend of mine sent me a ridiculous anti-Bush email. The idea was that the White House put out a Rosh Hashanah (Jewish new year) message this year a few days before actual holiday. People were all up in arms..."Doesn't that idiot know when the... Andy, check out these links: Saving face, losing a war VIEW FROM THE LEFT http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/gate/archive/2003/08/25/hsorensen.DTL Losing the war in Afghanistan http://www.boston.com/news/globe/editorial_opinion/oped/articles/2007/04/02/losing_the_war_in_afghanistan/ 36 Ways the US Is Losing the War on Terror http://www.antiwar.com/utley/?articleid=3234 Even broadening it to say "losing the war on terror" is completely wrong and offensive. We are quite clearly WINNING the war on terror. Until next election when the crybaby party takes office. I'm just not willing to be tolerant on the issue, sorry. And how exactly are you "winning" this war? And the war did not end when Baghdad ended, it was only the beginning. Your understanding of armed conflicts is poor, to say the least. And how is the "military" insulted? The WH and the military are two different things. |
