Fantastic idea - I did not know you could boil a ziplock. That opens up a lot of possibilities for me.
I know we will be eating eggs this weekend!

Hey, also, don't forget about salad in a bag. Take your already made salad, put in zipper lock bag, when ready dump dressing in bag, eat , throw away...go back to work.

The only concern I would have is that you are cooking in a plastic bag, which can release dioxins in your food. Read more here:

That was my first thought too. Or oestrogen-like chemicals. Heating or microwaving plastics that aren't specifically made for it isn't risk free.
