Taser use has quickly become a favorite "tool" of the RCMP, one they are loathe to use only as a last resort.

Many people actually get off on causing pain and discomfort for those they view as criminals, or in the very least, problem people. Since its just accepted that Tasers only stun people they don't hesitate to use them, especially if the cop feels the person is giving the cop a hard time.

Still, all in all, there are far fewer deaths by stun gun then by real gun.
