POPSQuickTime flaw could go beyond MySpace Secure Computing article on the virus which was spread on myspace through a hole in the program upgrade for Quicktime video players. Though a patch was created and passed out at Myspace unless the fix to the upgrade is distributed by quicktime other users and sites can be at the same type of risk. As Apple is aware of the issue, and worked on fixing the patch it is likely that they may have already made it available at their site. However, if people don't know they need a patch, they could be equally vulnerable to phishing attacks using "fake browser windows using the quicktime player to collect passwords. I recieved my copy of the patch through Myspace. POPS DebraFord123'sGoogle Pages- first 8 Pages Just launched
I spent the last 3 -5 hours building a new website and I just launched 38 pages. There are online games, weather, links to videos, over 200 blog titles - some partial some full entries, translation tools, money conversions, a hubble tracker, Nasa image of the day, and of course links to some of my other sites. This may have been one of my most productive web building sessions yet. It's a combination of the Great features in Google Labs and the fact that I finally know what I'm doing. All in all I am pleased and I expect this site to grow. Who knows what I could have done in a full eight hours. But, I have to split my time these days. Other duties call.Later this month I will put in a few more sessions on this site in particular.I know it was after two when I started but, I'm not exactly sure how long it took. What I can say is that people who talk bad about Google don't seem to realize that they are spending their money to make all of this stuff easier for us.

As of July 25th, 2006 they have returned and have already had over 10,000 visits. The three featured songs on their music page are Real World, Push The page lasted for under 2 months and has been removed also. It may very well be the case that people other than actual group members are registering and creating pages under assumed identities. As these pages are deleted very shortly after appearing They may be removed by administration or cancelled by the actual users. In any case it isn't the normal behavior of a group whose music sales would increase through visibility on a network. Then again, this group has no trouble with generating music sales. POPSthe new Matchbox 20 Acoustic music Profile at Myspace Matchbox 20 created their new Acoustic" music profile page on yesterday August 3rd. The page is listed in Thibodaux La. just like the Matchbox 20 "2 step" music page which is still being set up. The old group of matchbox 20 also returned to myspace last week with 3 songs. The music and page details have not yet been added for this profile and may include new songs from the much anticipated regrouping of the band for shows in 2006. This is most likely for the regrouping of the band which has been murmured about for months. The Rob Thomas summer tour ended in July. Matchbox Twenty 2-step music profile at myspace was created in yesterday Aug 3, 2006. The music player and group info has not yet been input as it may coincide with a public announcement of the band getting back together. This low grade image transformation can fill the entire page with an original looking effect when using the same image on the background for the table as a floating tables over a fixed background. Though there are many restraints on using templates, subtle changes in lines of code can change the look emensely. with a single picture. In page planning/testing the focal interest is on the appeal, the look and feel. Once a design is in place and the decisions are made then the time can go into producing the ultimate picture. Unfortunately my predone library is no longer accessible so all designs must be created individually.Even with a limited schedule and basic software suites there is much room for creativity even for the novice.One of the hardest parts of these designs is getting the code to show up on the page in a fashion it can be copied & pasted rough draft samples & discussion by Debra Ford.

POPSAdding the Clipmarks Group Map & slideshow at frappr to your websites The source link will not work . To get your code or to sign onto the map go to http://www.frappr.com/clipmarks which is the first map page for the clipmarks group.You can also get the codes for the clipmaks slide. The codes didn't follow through in the clipping process.. Widgets can be put wherever you like. In some cases they did not close off the embeds so you have to add that if your site desn't accept the code . "div" enclosures have been added to the codes at frappr. I have maps on myspace pages like http://www.myspace.com/123codetesting You will see that you can put multiple maps and slideshows on a single page. Mind you, that this sample page is at myspace which is built around a template and has far less freedom for object placement that you may have at your own websites. POPSTag Power: Static Cliproll Previews submitted in myspace blogs The Clip roll is static at myspace due to the restriction on javascript usage/ When you have 85 million users and 10 % are potential hackers, you limit java script. At any rate the blog submission adds to the outgoing feed and is aligned with topics relevant to the particular blog site. Rather than sending instruction out individually, the blog serves as a natural archiving system for explaining the impact that blogging, clipping, and tagging can/ will have on reaching the public. Reclipping my blogs on Cliprolls serve the purpose that any other clippers that my find my notes or comments useful to pass out have easy access to reclip or email the info. So there is a method to the madness of reclipping my clipped clips. Comments are more easily digested than a ten page article. And the series of clips provides reinforcing example to the entire concept of clipping for those who are less nerdy than myself, without boring people silly..
