POPSA Game worthwhile playing ! As a serious gamer I am certainly going to devote some time to this one. The idea is brilliant. Collaborative computing may bring breakthroughs that are decades away otherwise. If you pop this at least give the game a try :-)

POPSOlder Brain May Be Wiser “For the young people, it’s as if the distraction never happened,” said an author of the review, Lynn Hasher, a professor of psychology at the University of Toronto and a senior scientist at the Rotman Research Institute. “But for older adults, because they’ve retained all this extra data, they’re now suddenly the better problem solvers. They can transfer the information they’ve soaked up from one situation to another.”

POPSOlder Brain Really May Be a Wiser Brain The prospect of getting older doesn't look nearly as bleak, now that we're finding that exercise helps keep people strong and boosts balancing ability, and that mental decline is not an inevitable part of aging. And a good thing, too. As my mother used to say, "You don't like getting older? Consider the alternative!"

POPSSugary breakfast cereals may boost memory. The kids have short term, memory improvement, but it doesn't take long for the glucose to burn out and leave them empty. They also need a memory for the last few hours of school. Low GI are slow release, and can maintain the memory for much longer, though maybe without the acute rush. What can be as important are the artificial colours, flavouring, and preservatives that can play havoc with a child's metabolism. Substantial breakfasts are needed, because it is amazing how many kids either throw prepare lunches away if they don't like them, or use them to trade up. They learn about trade not nutrition.Once children are introduced to sugar they won't be happy with anything else. A sugar rush to a child, is like a shot of adrenaline to an adult

POPSI'M GAME Certainly there are skeptics who disagree with these researchers and claim that no amount of "mental aerobics" can prevent a decline in one's brain functioning... The writer of this article, Victoria Wesseler is a lifestyle, gardening and culinary writer and a weekly featured columnist. Is good to know how others could "brain exercise"...For me being in clipmarks do the same because I spend hours and not even realize how much time has flown by
