POPSSarah Palin - heart beat from the president I was personally going to make a video comparing Sarah Palin and that video considered one of the worst responses by a beauty pageant contestant, however this person beat me to it. I find this person, Sarah Palin, dangerous, naive, ill informed and completely unsuited to being a vice president let alone a president. This video has done a good job.

POPSRepublican Economic Mantra Soils US Citizans Yes the moral decay is very evident in the Republican stand and push. What, under Regan was called the Trickle Down Effect is really the Micturition Effect (look up the word - Grin). The Republicans continue to extol the virtues of the Micturition Effect. Frankly I am tired of those above doing that on me.

POPSFairies - The girls claim the last photo show real fairies Yes some are fake, perhaps all but years later, in 1978 they still hold that one of the photos is authentic while they admit to producing the others with cutouts. Fake or not, the power of fairies in the imagination is powerful touching the since of wonder in us all.

POPSSaudi Rape outrage videos This video has a lot of great questions and reveals exactly what our president, Mr. Bush, is doing about this and why. YES our Bush is good buddies with the Saudis, we cannot upset them over some girl who go herself raped and is going to be punished for it.

POPSBush and the Enron Connection Here you go, another look at how Bush and Republicans can lie, steal, cheat, rob, trash the constitution, torture, twist justice and thumb their noses at the American public. A democrat takes a penny from the free penny tray and there is an independent prosecutor to hound them -- but the Republicans can openly flaunt the law -- scream national security and do what ever they want. Wake up America -- get out your old tar and feathers, we got some work to do.

POPSScott McClellan reveals that Bush, Cheney, were involved in CIA operative ID leak Well well well, surprise surprise surprise -- hands up if this is a surprise to you. I suppose the only surprise is someone finally telling about it. I wonder if this will reopen the indictment process. What we really don't know yet is what the pre 911 Bush was talking about that is still classified top secret in his energy talks with Enron prior to the great fall. Sure would like to know what Enron was in on that is so TOP SECRET -- don't you?

POPSWhich Turkey do you Support? Billions for Iraq, nothing for the American people and all in the name of Defense. Time to wake up America - Time to see what this bird is stuffed with.

POPSUS Congress will go head to head with Bush on war funding If the Democrats really stick to their guns this time, Bush is a cooked goose if he vetos this bill. I still will wait and see but IF they stick to the plan to not fund Bush's war without the strings of withdrawl and deadlines, then this is finally the big one. The BIG one for me is when congress finally pulls in Bush and leashes him. Don't forget to curb him Nancy.

POPSBush Spying, Trashes Constitution, Establishes Impearal Rule Bush yells, trust me trust me, yet again and again he proves he is untrustworthy. The constitution was set up to protect the American people from a dictator yet the Emperor is here. Time to stop the Emperor - Time to take back our country and reestablish the constitution as supreme law of the land.

POPSHouse hearings have harsh words for spying in China but none for doing same in USA There were harsh words for the US tech firms aimed at their China internet spying activity yet -- unbelievably not one word about the companies doing the same in the USA to our own people in Bush's domestic spy program. YES the cat is out of the bag - splitters were installed by the internet companies in the USA and the Bush spy program is looking at EVERYTHING -- no warrent, in violation of our constitutional right. This is a high crime against the United States of America. The guarantees in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights was passed to amend the Constitution and define what can and can not be done. These superceed any perceived powers granted to a president by the Constitution and in no way allow in peace or war to do away with these rights.

POPSUSA built on backbone of terrorism as defined by USA now It continues to be absolutely remarkable how a country built on revolution, using an insurgency to wage warfare against the sovereign legal government, can turn about and start calling the same in modern times, evil and terrorists. One man's terrorist is another man's hero or patriot. One declares war on a nation, not a concept or ideal. Something is gravely wrong with the direction of this United States of America. We are not holding to our constitution, we can just toss it out in the name of national security? Hog Wash! HOG WASH! What have we become? I don't want to look in the national mirror.

POPSWho is the bad man - Bush or Sadam? Bush is responsible for far more deaths than Sadam -- under Sadam factions lived together in relative peace -- the country was not war ravaged and it was not a center for terrorists. So who is the BAD MAN?

POPSWhy Teachers Quit Teaching -- A Serious Problem I am a teacher who quit -- this article covers much of my reasons, not all, but i suggest you read the whole thing. Other reasons not covered include government laws for testing -- I equate this to congress passing law that doctors must do brain surgery with an axe and chain saw and nothing else. The over sized administration, money sucking top heavy entity of the public school that does nothing but eat money. The idea that the school is there to mix children in some sort of social soup instead of educate them -- which leads to hemorrhaging money in bus programs. There are other problems with public schools.

POPSIraq war opposition at record high I was against the war from the start. My country acting like the country that invaded Poland in WWII did not sit well with me. We have been given a reason for the war -- WMD and that was false. We have been diverted into the argument that Iraq was a terrorist state -- again proved false We have been pushed into the argument that we are liberating the Iraq people from Sadam -- um, there are bad leaders all over the world, why this one? Every argument given has failed to hold water -- the USA is engaging in imperialism -- and against international law. The numbers of people killed far far exceed the numbers for the "bad man Sadam" who was convicted of war crimes, not by an international court but by his enemies in Iraq. I hope there will be a time when Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney are tried in an international court for war crimes -- after the American people get through with them for violating the US Constitution.

POPSDemocrats wimp out, Mukasey gets green light Once again the Democrats wimp out, fail to stand up to Bush. The issue is not one to take lightly. So why do the Bush grovel again? With Bush threatening to not put anyone in office the job would default to someone congress did not have approval over and who could be appointed by the White house. I suppose this is the final reason and perhaps a good reason but it is truly bothersome as well.

POPSUSA calls for impeachment of Bush and Cheney If Kucinich removes Bush by impeachment, he must also remove Cheney -- Cheney would become president of Bush is removed. So who would be president? UMMMM Nancy Pelosi is next in line after Cheney. The USA poll numbers are far higher for removal of Bush and Cheney than polls for removal of Nixon. Nancy Pelosi said for the the democrats to concentrate on doing things instead of going after Bush and Cheney, yet, Bush and Cheney have prevented almost all democrat congress moves to make change. I suppose it is time to do something drastic and show Mr. Bush and Cheney that congress has teeth.

POPSKucinich exposes UFO encounter I have liked Mr. Kucinich and his views -- This one with the Shirley MacLaine connection might not be the best presidential grooming material but it certainly is a chuckle. *puts on tin foil hat* ahhh protected from alien mind control at last. That does not mean i am discounting UFO sighting -- I am only pointing at how this figures into the presidential circus *grin*. *Puts on tin foil hat* Ahhhh protected from alien mind control at last.

POPSThe Hummer vs the Prius - a statement Not every car is as economical on gas as the Prius but should anyone be making and selling cars rated at 14 - 16 MPG and realistically seeing 9 mpg be made in this day and age? I think it is just wrong. Enjoy!

POPSWaterboarding used by other groups as torture taint USA So -- the Spanish Inquisition, Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge, the WWII Japanees soldiers, all used waterboarding torture and now the U.S. Military under orders of George W. Bush and Dick Chaney -- good company we in the U.S. are keeping aren't we.

POPSBush throws tantrum - acts like spoiled child Hand pick someone who will do you bidding and have congress reject them -- what do you do? You throw a fit, act like a spoiled child, call everyone unpatriotic that opposed you and do it in front of a hand picked group of reporters. Time to call your Bluff Mr. Bush, will the American people continue to sit by and let you become the dictator you appear to be? The attorney general is the office and has the power to go after the president -- this of course is why Bush want his puppet in the office. The attorney general is not a political seat, it is the head of the US justice department who work for the people -- to protect the people - not the president. The people need some protecting against the Bush administration.
1
POPSBush think only "responsible" Attorney General must accept waterboarding ?new standard for confirmation that could not be met by any responsible nominee for attorney general" -- So clearly, Bush is stating that he considers responsible nominees for attorney general to support waterboarding and other torture methods. I want to see an attorney general who will uphold the law and go after Bush for his flagrant breaking of US and international law.

POPSWaterboarding is torture....Period Ever read 1984? Double speak and New Speak seem to have come to reality and with domestic spying *blinks* well G. Orwell would find his novel parallels frightening. What next? The constitution is not being followed, international law broken, treaties trounced, what next -- oh yea Iran.

POPSIllegal Alien problem - How to solve the invasion My two step plan to solving the illegal alien problem: 1) Make it a mandatory felony to hire one with 20 year and 100k per offence with NO PAROLE (includes domestic help). 2) Legislate law stating that no one born in the USA of illegal parents are US citizens. Make this law retroactive (i know the constitution forbids expofacto laws but that has not stopped the previous congress so why stop now?) The fantasy that these people do not take jobs Americans want is a big lie - I was put out of my carpentry job by them in the 70s in California when the contractors hired them for 5 and 6 dollars an hour instead of paying me the union required 18 + benefits. The contracts stayed the same so the contractors raked in the money. After getting a teaching credential in California, saw illegal's children getting teaching jobs as bilingual in Spanish while I, not being bilingual, was shut out. So yes this is the correct way to deal with it.
