The bible clearly states that when Jesus walked the earth he healed many of "every affliction". The early disciples have recorded in the bible of people who where healed and raised from the dead. Therefore it is or at least was a ministry preformed by both Jesus and his early disciples. The main focus of Jesus' ministry as well as the early disciples was the 'preaching of the kingdom of God' and not the ministry of healing. Healing came as a result of seeking Jesus or the kingdom of God. Like this article states Jesus did warn of many false prophets who would arise preforming miracles in attempts to mislead and deceive. It was interesting to read in this article that of all the people who were reportedly healed at this 'revival' Mr Bentley only produced a list of 15 people who could verify such healing. And yet thousands have attended the revival. Personally I believe God can heal anyone if He chooses to but the bible says 'Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousne

And it is that continued dependence upon Almighty God that shall sustain us as a great nation. Declaring our Independence from God would only lead us into a path of destruction and oblivion.

POPSSalad Bar Christianity This is just another example of a man-made god. Taking the parts we like from all religious practices and mixing them together to form a hodgepodge of beliefs that Jesus warned against. Jesus declared unashamedly that he was the way the truth and the life not just one of many. Man loves to remake God into their own image, changing the absolute rightness of God for a rightness that suits each individual. The salad bar analogy works good here because the tendency of people is to take what they like and leave what they do not like. Most times it is the food that is best for us that we leave on the salad bar.

Or in other words, blaspheme that which is good and right and uphold as honorable that which is unholy and perverse. Obviously there is an "AGENDA" to promote homosexual causes across our land via the US congress while at the same time there is another "AGENDA" to oppose any movement of God across this nation. POPSThe Bible according to Pelosi Some may not care if a leader of our country spouts off made-up biblical utterances but to me this just shows the dire dirth of knowledge present on capital hill. They call them misstatements but in reality they are lies plain and simple. No attempt is made by these 'leaders' to search out truth they just continually spout out falsehoods after falsehoods and the American people seem to just give them a pass. I am not the smartest bird in the nest but this eagle can spot a doo doo bird simply enough. No wonder they became extinct. Perhaps we should send some of these congresspersons the way of the doo doo bird into oblivion.

POPSAuthor Chopra creates new Jesus Number three on the New York Times best seller list does not surprise me. People would much rather believe all these convoluted offerings rather than the truth that a loving God actually cared enough about our pitiful selfs that He sent His only Son to die so that we might live. Now I do not know about you but my best intentions has never led me anywhere but to despair. No matter how hard I tried I could never measure up to be GOOD enough by the so called enlightened crowd so I guess I would be doomed to forever live in despair save for the Lord Jesus Christ who came into my life and rescued me from my despair. Now I know who I belong to and therefore I am no longer looking to the enlightened crowd for my self worth. Perhaps Chopra and all his adherents would be better served to read the 'Good Book'.

POPSScriptures are now an amusement park attraction How sad it is to once again see the sacred word of God being depicted as an amusement park attraction. Once was not enough now apparently it is fashionable to create amusement parks in the name of Christianity. I guess this really should not be so surprising considering a good bit of televised religion is nothing more then infomercials and religious entertainment anyway. Perhaps the churches should start charging admission to get inside to witness the great adventures of God up close and personal. Why not just turn the church houses into museums or tourist attractions?

POPSBarbara Walters Criticizes Christmas Card Walters laments "Don't you think it's a little interesting,” continued Walters in her questioning, “that the president of all the people is sending out a religious Christmas card?" Why wouldn't the President of all people send a greeting from the GOD of all people? Jesus did not come to save just Christians He came to save all mankind. That includes the Muslims, Jews, Greeks, Atheists, Deists and any other religious or secular group of people in the world. To me it only makes sense that the universal God should be presented all of mankind considering that is what Christmas really is all about. God sent the very first Christmas card when He sent His son to be born in a manager. Emmanuel God is now with man. All men whether they believe in Him or not He still loves them and still reaches out to them.

We got so called preachers of God's word living greedy lifestyles while Jesus taught self denial and self sacrifice. Not much sacrificing going on here I do not think. POPSAre Homosexuals Born that way? No matter what the sin is we are all responsible for our actions before God. To say the devil made me do it of I can't help myself does not negate our responsibility before God to live righteously in an unrighteous world. How then are we to live? What is required of each of us? It would appear in our society where the victim mentality runs rampant we have a tendency to dismiss all our foibles and fallacies on forces beyond our control. It is true that there are forces at work in our lives we may not be aware of but that does not excuse us when we behave badly. Accepting the fact that we are LOST without hope without a savior is the first step in living rightly in an mixed-up world. Turn towards Christ and away from sin and you shall live.

POPSWhat does the Bible say about angels? I don't think most people understand the true nature of angels or their purpose...or that there are more bad angels on Earth than good ones. Satan's forces are predominantly earthbound and this is His domain for now...so it's only natural that his angels abound here. An angel can't be in two places at once...and more in this article.

POPSWhose your daddy? I sit in stunned amazement at the levels we will go in attempts to replace God's ways with ones we seem to like better. For years our society has been relegating the role of Father to the not needed status. The feminist movement has been telling our young ladies over and over again that they do not need a man for anything. They have been told that they are fully cabable of being all they want to be without the need of any male influence at all. Do what you want, live how you want, and take no account of the so called male species. The removal of God's influence from our culture cheapens all other life. Without moral abosolutes in a society then the basest, vilest activities are no longer considered taboo. Once again we are reaping what we have sown. We are fast becoming equal to other pagan societies who God judged harshly and will again. So guys, who would like Mary Chaney to raise your son or daughter?
