Its very fragility demands a culture in which it is protected." This means, as Sugrue argues, that "once marriage becomes a statist institution for the sake of consenting adults, the state will increasingly be called upon to create the social conditions to protect these unions." The need for coddling means the state will use public education for this end, and align itself against churches that refuse to recognize same-sex "marriage." State-ordered gay "marriage" is an attack, not only on legitimate marriage, but upon religious freedom and the freedom not to have one's children indoctrinated into alien ideas about marriage.

It would appear that Gay marriage is becoming the new standard by which the church is going to be judged. No wonder there is a downward spiral in the moral climate of the country. So if you are or have been divorced by a wife because of Adultery you might as well sue Nelson. After all if the bible did not speak against adultery well then there would not have been any grounds for the divorce. It is all God's fault after all.

POPSGays Yeah, God Nea, These two stands as beacons to the trend in our society to normalize that which is abnormal and demonize that which is holy. Or in other words, blaspheme that which is good and right and uphold as honorable that which is unholy and perverse. Obviously there is an "AGENDA" to promote homosexual causes across our land via the US congress while at the same time there is another "AGENDA" to oppose any movement of God across this nation. If your Gay we say YEAH if your Christian we say Nea. And then we wonder why our country is in a mess?

POPSWisconsin Elementary school's 'WACKY WEEK' stirs controversy. What where they thinking? With all the craziness in this world already must we be playing dress-up during the time when our children are supposed to be learning? It would appear from the participation that a minority of the students actually participated. Could this indicate that the majority thought it was just plain silly? Talk about WACKY WEEK! I think the only thing wacky about this week was the school district's idea of a wacky week.

I guess the reason for that is most churches do not preach about sin anymore. So then society is left to it's own devises to come up with respectable behavior.

Considering all the parodies in the world depicting art or movies or other iconic symbols this is just one of another examples of the type of people who participate in these activities. To think that the promoters of this event want people to look upon them as anti- Christian makes one pause to wonder why? I mean if I was promoting an event that I want to make mainstream why would I go out of my way to invoke ridicule by mocking mainstream? Could it be that is exactly how these people think? They really are not mainstream and they hate mainstream thinking and they want to be IN THE Face of mainstream America? If that is the case then I say do unto others as you would have them do unto you? Just to make it clear to the folks at Folsom Street Fair. The Christ of the Da Vinci original Last Supper died to forgive the most vilest of sinners yourself included. Perhaps you should embrace Him and not mock Him?

POPSWhat to do with a Transgender Pastor? There is much error in our church institutions today. As an institution the church has been taking on the appearance of the society in which it was supposed to stand in contrast too. Instead of taking on the appearance of Jesus Christ himself the church has been taking on the garments of the fallen society that Jesus came to save. The Church of Christ is supposed to different from the world, set apart for the purpose of promoting Christ and His kingdom. Oh how far we have fallen. The church as a whole needs to repent and return to Christ and become Christlike not worldlike.

POPSAt 12 This Boy Thinks He Is a Girl When we reject God's ways then anyway looks good. This story saddens me and I just hope that it is not true. However; I have seen and heard a lot of things lately that used to be taboo only to see them becoming more and more mainstream. No one can convince me that this 12 yr old has any clue as to what all this means. This is a case where the parents should be held for felonious assault on their own son. Ahem daughter.

POPSAre Homosexuals Born that way? No matter what the sin is we are all responsible for our actions before God. To say the devil made me do it of I can't help myself does not negate our responsibility before God to live righteously in an unrighteous world. How then are we to live? What is required of each of us? It would appear in our society where the victim mentality runs rampant we have a tendency to dismiss all our foibles and fallacies on forces beyond our control. It is true that there are forces at work in our lives we may not be aware of but that does not excuse us when we behave badly. Accepting the fact that we are LOST without hope without a savior is the first step in living rightly in an mixed-up world. Turn towards Christ and away from sin and you shall live.

POPSWhose your daddy? I sit in stunned amazement at the levels we will go in attempts to replace God's ways with ones we seem to like better. For years our society has been relegating the role of Father to the not needed status. The feminist movement has been telling our young ladies over and over again that they do not need a man for anything. They have been told that they are fully cabable of being all they want to be without the need of any male influence at all. Do what you want, live how you want, and take no account of the so called male species. The removal of God's influence from our culture cheapens all other life. Without moral abosolutes in a society then the basest, vilest activities are no longer considered taboo. Once again we are reaping what we have sown. We are fast becoming equal to other pagan societies who God judged harshly and will again. So guys, who would like Mary Chaney to raise your son or daughter?
