I mean does it really require society to tell us what is wrong with our families? DADS must someone else tell you what is appropriate behavior for your sons and daughters? As long as there is pop culture and idols are made of television stars our young people will be tempted to look like what they see on TV and in the movies. Perhaps a return to decency and a little old fashion modesty is in order?

There is no doubt that when a first term senator, without a credible achievement, who proved himself incompetent at the mere act of casting a vote as a State Senator, who is the most Leftist member of the Senate and all of Congress, who talks about sacrifice while giving 1% of his windfall salary to charity, who will not talk about his record, agenda, or be "distracted" by questions of his intended policies, who has befriended a terrorist and racist preacher, who has a wife that says there is a "veil of impossibility" in America ( She went to Yale, remember), who is an adherent of Black Lib (marxist) Theology, who never worked in Business or Industry, never managed a company, and never served his country. A man who whips his naive supporters up using tactics, imagery, and organic unity not seen since the early 1930's. The American People are in fact the problem when this is the man that one of the major parties in the US seems to believe is fit to be President of the U.S.

POPSShould XXX sites have to use a .XXX domain name? Once again a report shows why we can not legislate proper behavior. I personally think that an XXX domain would be a great way for all pornographers to have their own home on the web place to gather. But like other legislation of this nature it would be worthless to attempt if they are going to allow the porn industry to continue to cloak itself in the .com world to appear legitimate. Those who wish to seek out this type of "entertainment" will find it no matter where it resides in the community. Therefore creating a virtual "Red Light District" would probably work as well as prohibition did. This one certainly belongs in the LOONY BIN.

POPS23,000 youth flood stadium for "BattleCry" youth gathering It s really a shame that they would let 23,000 people gather for just about anything as long as it does not preach Jesus. I am glad these young people find something worthwhile to support. Course some may say this is not a worthwhile event but anytime people gather to sing praise to God has to be positive.

They mouth empty words and pontificate on matters they know absolutely nothing about in a vane attempt to appear informed and enlightened. Even a fool is considered wise if he keeps his mouth shut but once he starts to orate he removes all doubt about it.

POPSIraq another Vietnam? Looks like some politicals just never learn. Repeating the same mistakes of the Vietnam era will once again result in less than a regal outcome in Iraq. Taking the political handcuffs off our military men and women and let them do what they do best will result in a WIN. Once the enemy is defeated and law and order is restored then we can talk about who is in charge until then. CHARGE!!

Whenever we deviate from Godly principles or sound biblical wisdom our society suffers for it. Here is just another example of a society drunk on its own foolishness disregarding the obvious in favor of an anti-Christian value system. Regardless of the ill effects a public policy may have on our society those who set such policy refuse to acknowledge the failure of such policies. Their reasoning would appear to be anything but Judeo Christian values. Even though those same values, when enacted, lead to a better society they still refuse to acknowledge its benefits. Our own national history is riddled with glaring examples of the benefits of leading a Godly life in society. Yet in today's culture being "Christian" is politically incorrect and thusly forbidden. So spare the rod and drug your kids has become the acceptable manner in which we discipline our children. Excuse me but I think a good swat on the buttocks works better and swifter then Prozac. But what do I know?

POPSSalad Bar Christianity This is just another example of a man-made god. Taking the parts we like from all religious practices and mixing them together to form a hodgepodge of beliefs that Jesus warned against. Jesus declared unashamedly that he was the way the truth and the life not just one of many. Man loves to remake God into their own image, changing the absolute rightness of God for a rightness that suits each individual. The salad bar analogy works good here because the tendency of people is to take what they like and leave what they do not like. Most times it is the food that is best for us that we leave on the salad bar.

POPSNational Anthem Not welcome in California State House Sometimes I wish that California would be hit with the "BIG ONE" and send it into Pacific Ocean. Thank God the children did not break out into a spontaneous chorus of Amazing Grace, they might have been tarred and feathered. For this unpatriotic display on the part of the California State capital this story belongs in the Cuckoos nest for sure. No wonder they call Cali the 'Left Coast' apparently the people who live out there have taken leave of their common sense.

POPSWhere "Bitches, Ho and Niggas' came from It would appear that there is a double standard in public outcry concerning bad behavior. I guess an old white man using the term "nappy headed hos" raises the ire of the black population while their own spew forth even greater obscenities in the form of "RAP" each and every week as the top 10 Rap playlist would suggest. Course I guess this kind of behavior and speech is expected of such 'rappers' who profess to be portraying life as they know it. WELL folks black or white rich or poor if your culture is identified by such derogatory terms perhaps you should be protesting the degradation of your culture and demand change in that same culture. Why would you permit anyone to portray your culture by such language? You deserve better and you should demand those who portray your culture in such demeaning terms to cease and desist. We all have the freedom of speech to say whatever we feel we need to say but that does not mean that anyone has to listen.
