POPSYou Can Praise Him but DO NOT Oppose Him
The one was on the air again last night giving yet another speech on his plans to socialize as much of America as possible. When one freshman congressman had about all he could stand he blurted out: "you lie" and the attacks came fast and furious. No the attacks were not focused on the "LIAR" but on the one who outed him. Rep. Wilson who was sent to Washington D.C. to be the voice of his constituency back home was only saying what so many of us were yelling at the top of our lungs as well. "YOU LIE" in fact the whole speech was full of misleading and false statements. One thing was clear though, if you want to give his highness a STANDING OVATION you are more than welcome to interrupt him, but DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO not oppose 'the one' because that will not be tolerated in the hallowed halls of the joint house. POPSWhy not Keep Gitmo Open as a Prison? President Obama seems determined to move the DETAINEES at GITMO from GITMO to be a PRISONER at some US Facility. Well let me see if I understand this correctly. Prisoners should be held in a prison. Is Gitmo a PRISON? Yep Okay check. Detainees at GITMO should be moved to a US PRISON FACILITY. IS GITMO a US PRISON facility? YUP again so CHECK 2 Gitmo detainees should be given trials. CAN GITMO DETAINEES BE tried at GITMO? YUP so once again CHECK. Why then should they be moved? Could it be simply a POLITICAL maneuver Mr President? Check check and triple check. While we are fighting TERRORISM on FOREIGN soil why in God's name (or allah for OBAMA) would we bring the terrorists HOME WITH US to AMERICAN SOIL? Are you insane? Yep another check. So then the only reason why the detainees at GITMO would need to be moved is strictly political and not seated in thoughtful reason. POPSObama Cuts Military Spending while Domestic Spending Once again "Barry" signs legislation designed to make us less safe citing "wasteful spending". Isn't that like the pot calling the kettle black? This logic coming from the President who is singlehandedly bankrupting our nation. Why doesn't he and the rest of those capital hill socialists cut some of the PORK out of their recent PORKULUS bill? And while they are about BUDGET cuts why not SCRAPE the recent 900+ page cap and trade bill they are trying to push on American business. This would be laughable if it were not so serious.

POPSObama Administration regrest boycott of UN Racism meeting Well it is good to see that there is a line that Obama will not cross. It is okay to visit nations that bash Israel as a matter of national policy but we will draw the line with attending a UN MEETING which holds basically the same values. Now I am not saying I am opposed to Obama's position but I really wish he would take a REAL stand and not just a SYMBOLIC one. If he would not sit down with rogue nations because of their policies toward Israel and terrorism and weapons of mass destruction then I might actually stand up and applaud this :President. POPSChristian Symbolism not Fit for Presidential Address Not fit for a Presidential address is any Christian symbolism yet the President has no problem being seen on Arab TV. In fact his first Televised appearance was on Arab TV. So I guess only Christian symbolism is unfit for the President to be seen in front of. This is not really a big deal but the very fact that the White House specifically stated that any symbolism that represents the college be covered up makes one wonder what exactly is the matter with Georgetown University that their heritage and symbolism needs to be hidden from public view.

POPSFiscally Responsible Politicians? This headline screams OXYMORON. It is impossible to even suggest that ANYONE on the democrat side of the aisle is FISCALLY Conservative. The spending in the White House is horrendous! But like all liberal politicians, there is not a spending plan they will not support nor a tax they will not impose! As we race toward another election and we consider our votes for the next occupant of the White House perhaps it would do us all well to travel back in time and remember the virtues that made this country great. Avoid political factions and entangling alliances sounds like good advice to me. Perhaps our current bunch of political leaders would do well to heed the words of America's founding father George Washington. Washington went on to say that popular government depended on virtuous citizens and that only religion, which in the American context meant Christianity, could inspire such selfless behavior. He frequently asserted that religion helped promote virtue, order, and social stability, and praised the efforts of churches to make people "sober, honest, and good Citizens, and the obedient subjects of a lawful government." What say you?

Check out the third picture of 'President' Obama's throne. I for one am growing way tired of all the money being spent to buy this Presidency. I think it is time that 'We the people' actually think about taking back this country from all the millionaire special interest groups.

POPSRantings of a Racist When pushing an agenda facts are not important, the only thing that matters is putting forth arguments to support ones own agenda. That can be said on both sides of any issue. In the case of the Wright Reverend Jeremiah it is easy to see from the bulletin from the church which issue is of utmost importance to him. Be sure to read the Pastor's page portion and you will see President Bush is to blame for all the ills of mankind, not sin. A preacher of righteousness would acknowledge that all men are sinners not just a particular race or color. In fact the wat in Iraq is blamed for homelessness in New Orleans. The last time I checked the major of New Orleans was a, let me see, black man. It would appear from reading just this one bulletin that the Wright Reverend Jeremiah is not so right when it comes to putting forth truth. Unless of course facts do not matter.

POPSBarbara Walters Criticizes Christmas Card Walters laments "Don't you think it's a little interesting,” continued Walters in her questioning, “that the president of all the people is sending out a religious Christmas card?" Why wouldn't the President of all people send a greeting from the GOD of all people? Jesus did not come to save just Christians He came to save all mankind. That includes the Muslims, Jews, Greeks, Atheists, Deists and any other religious or secular group of people in the world. To me it only makes sense that the universal God should be presented all of mankind considering that is what Christmas really is all about. God sent the very first Christmas card when He sent His son to be born in a manager. Emmanuel God is now with man. All men whether they believe in Him or not He still loves them and still reaches out to them.

POPSJune 9th 1943, Congress introduces public to tax withholding. Emergency measure to pay for the war. Well like anything else that originates in Congress we are still paying for the 1943 war. Like everything else that brings money into the federal government this will never disappear. Perhaps we need to elect another Andrew Jackson as President! One who sees the evil of excessive taxation on a free market society. What are the chances?
