POPSThe Fundagenitals Strike Again A hint of desperation begins to appear as the Bush presidency runs out of time. In their never ending quest to control women and prevent them from obtaining health care, they're running to pass legislation that attempts to make an end run around the law by using the pretext of religion to deny a woman access to contraceptives by conflating them with abortion. Luckily, so far their narrow religious tenets have been held in check by more tolerant voices. But make no mistake, these Religious Right activists will not stop their campaign to impose their views on the rest of the nation.

POPSHow much is life worth? This article makes me ill. Just what does he think women are? Did he not stop to think for even one minute that perhaps some women really have no choice but to terminate? Then there’s the issue of perhaps some damaged soul thinking its a free $500 and not even realizing the other consequences of the pregnancy. This is more devaluing (and demeaning) to the women and to the fetuses than an abortion could ever be. I can see his passion and what he thinks he’s doing but his ways are extremely insulting not to mention not very well thought out. Sometimes I’m proud to be a liberal.

POPSMcCain Continues to Sink to New Depths The "straight talker" keeps saying the wrong things. His campaign is catering to the very people he so reviled in his 2000 race. I suppose since he sees this as his last chance to become president he is willing to say or do whatever it takes to take that seat in the oval office. I hope you will take the time to read the entire letter Cecile Richards sent to McCain and his campaign big wigs.

POPSAbolishing Abortion? I have often thought that advanced ultrasound technology would be a powerful weapon in the war to abolish abortion. You can say all kinds of things to rationalize killing a fetus, but when a woman sees her child in living color on the screen, only a hardened few will not succumb to natural maternal instincts.

POPSTHIS is McCain's "Spiritual Advisor?" "Parsley claims that Islam is an "anti-Christ religion" predicated on "deception." The Muslim prophet Muhammad, he writes, "received revelations from demons and not from the true God. And he emphasizes this point: "Allah was a demon spirit." Parsley does not differentiate between violent Islamic extremists and other followers of the religion" Parsley, who refers to himself as a "Christocrat," is no stranger to controversy. In 2007, the grassroots organization he founded, the Center for Moral Clarity, called for prosecuting people who commit adultery. In January, he compared Planned Parenthood to Nazis. In the past Parsley's church has been accused of engaging in pro-Republican partisan activities in violation of its tax-exempt status."

POPSScientific consensus One must ask, "How in the world did university researchers come to conclusions that defended this outrageous affront to society?" A look back at the research concluded that the researchers adjusted their outcomes to support the theory of those paying for the research.

POPSI'm Pro Choice but I Agree with the Bush Administration on This One I'm all for a woman's right to choose if she wants to end a pregnancy. But surprisingly, I'm with the Bush administration on protecting healthcare workers who wish not to be involved in abortions. Just as a woman should have the right to choose (after consulting with the father of course), doctors and other healthcare professionals should be able to choose not to participate in procedures they are inherently against.

POPSMcCain supporter Rev.Parsely on KKK, Nazis, Blacks, Planned Parenthood
"If I were call for the sterilization or the elimination of an entire segment of society, I'd be labeled a racist or a murderer, or at very best a Nazi," "That every single year, millions of our tax dollars are funding a national organization built upon that very goal -- their target: African Americans. That's right, the death toll: nearly fifteen hundred African Americans a day. The shocking truth of black genocide." "Right now our own government is allowing organizations like Planned Parenthood to legally take the innocent lives of precious baby girls and baby boys and even footing the bill for it all with our tax dollars, turning every single one of us into accessories to murder," "You know who their biggest fans must be, that must be the KKK, because the woman who founded this organization detested black people.... African Americans were number one on Margaret Sanger's list. So this 'Lady MacDeath,' as I like to call her, studied the works of Englishman Malthus, and embraced

POPSPorno peddler praises Planned parenthoods new Teen website Asking a porno peddler if he thinks introducing young people to porn is a good idea what do you expect him to say, NO? Good grief why don't we ask an overeater if promoting all you can eat buffets is a good idea? How about we ask a serial killer if a website dedicated to how to kill a person and get away with it is a good idea? DUD!!!!!

POPS"Great Whore" Bits back: Religion in US Election "By receiving the endorsement of an outspoken critic of the Catholic church, McCain once again demonstrates that he is willing to sell out his principles for a chance to win the presidency," said Chris Korzen, executive director of Catholics United. McCain also campaigned in Ohio this week with Rod Parsley, a television evangelist who leads a group called the Centre for Moral Clarity. McCain called Parsley — who has suggested that adulterers should be prosecuted and compared members of the abortion-rights group Planned Parenthood to Nazis — a "spiritual guide". "During his 2000 run for president against George Bush, McCain called evangelical preachers Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson "agents of intolerance". He later apologised in the face of mounting anger from Christian groups, saying he intended the statement as a joke. ...Guardian

POPSMartin Luther King's niece speaks out "Hunter declared that in merely three days time in America, the abortion industry "kills more blacks than the KKK ever lynched." "Abortion is a racist, genocidal act."

POPSPlanned Parenthood Abuse The fact that the left is not outraged at this kind of behavior is troubling--although not surprising. Planned Parenthood will stick up for the "rights" of the overage boyfriend--but not those of the parents. What kind of twisted thinking is that?

POPSChild Rape OK in Mighigan Good to see that bureaucrats willing to violate the confessional are unwilling to make the same demands of abortionists.

POPSFundamentalist Muslims are the face of UNREASON Let's deny these people that reject our values the rights they enjoy (and claim) given to them by those very same values. Deny these unreasonable retards jobs, shelter and co-operation -- every non-violent and legal way we can.
