POPSFeds Must Be Stopped Where in the Constitution does the EPA have the power to do this? I would be happy to have someone explain it to me. If auto makers won't, or can't, meet the more stringent state guidelines, then they just won't sell cars in those states. One of two things will happen. Either the citizens of those states will not be able to handle not being able to purchase new vehicles, and change their laws appropriately; or the auto makers will say, "Crap! We lose too much money not having those markets. We better get serious and exceed the federal regs by complying w/ the tightest state regulation so everyone's happy." Am I being unreasonable?
