POPSIllegal Search It seems certain phone companies did not follow the law, nor did they protect their customers' rights, and that should be addressed, not made retroactively legal. Our protections continue to be eroded.

POPSGambling and Privacy Gambling - I don't do much of it, but think it should be a personal choice. What I really find disturbing is whenever laws are "tacked on" to unrelated items, and the complete disdain for privacy that lawmakers continually show.

POPSInternational Treaty/Domestic Law Perhaps a Texas resident will be subjected to criminal prosecution abroad in violation of treaty, and Texas will have the same luck getting that country to abide by the treaty as Mexico had with us.

POPSImmigration Historical Context Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it, or something like that. When I first heard of the immigration bill, I thought it was a good compromise. Now, I'm not so sure.
