POPSNuclear power surge is unstoppable The price of uranium is being driven up by two factors: 1) the rising cost of oil needed in the mining and refining process and 2) the huge rise in demand as new plants are fired up around the world. One of the most irritating things about this policy is that it using obsolete technology. Investing in fast-breeder technology to burn up plutonium will become economic long before this "new" generation of nuclear plants are built. O yes, and then there's the dearth of a new generation of nuclear scientists to replace the current generation who are retiring.

There are no immediate returns, but virtually guarenteed future returns, just what the wise investor needs.
