POPSTrue story in a San Francisco bus It starts: "About 18 years ago I was riding the 30 Stockton bus heading downtown, standing room only (as usual). I am tall, so I could see over the largely (probably 95%) asian population inside the bus, who all seemed to be hacking their lungs out without covering their mouths (nice). So we stop at Sacramento Street (just before the tunnel), and a whole group of people want to push on to the bus. Everybody at the stop manages to squeeze in when there is a bit of a commotion at the front."

POPS2007 Best Photographs The very first of these pictures was taken in my homeland of Caracas, Venezuela, after a march against violence. A group of gunmen, supporters of the government attacked the students of the largest university in the country. This picture shows a group of those students trying to lock these gunmen in a building while the police arrives. They succeeded. (WARNING: SOME OF THESE PICTURES ARE A LITTLE GRAPHIC.)

POPS"Quuntamo", by Apocalyptica If you're into rock, you've heard of these guys. If not, I seriously recommend them. They jumped to fame playing Metallica on cellos, but now they also play their own stuff. Who know a string quartet could rock so hard?
