plant corn reap corn

by Krazy4U  7-18-2008
There are many ways to sow! Money is the one we seem to hear and know about the most. But there is also time and talent and prayers. There is a natural principle at work here. As we so our funds into the kingdom they are reaped 100 fold the same with service and work. Though sowing should not be obligatory but an outpouring of our relationship in Christ. Haven't we all heard that things taste better when they are made in love?? Sow diligently with all kinds of crops as an investor would say be sure and diversify your investments. The risk is low and the return is terrific. :) we have a bunch of sowers in Guatemala right now to read more about them go to guatemalamission08.blogspot.com what a beautiful and amazing group. blessings on your journey

Unrecognizable
Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  7-17-2008
A friend and mentor someone I truly respect and love described this change, becoming a new creature as like a worm changing to a butterfly! What a wonderful picture. Completely changed no longer recognizable as a worm but a butterfly! Simply beautiful, in Christ. Yet we forget, though we are changed sometimes we crawl on the ground like the worm we were. What a funny and ironic picture isn't it. A butterfly moving on the ground like a worm. Don't forget who you are!!!! Christ is in YOU! You are a child of God! A prince/princess in the Kingdom. AN AMBASSADOR to the kingdom. Brush off those old trappings and the voices that tell you all the mistakes you've made and turn to Christ! In and through Him you can do ALL things. He will strengthen you. And bring someone along with you because as it says in 2Corinthians 5 God desires to reconcile the world to Himself. And in Christ we are ministers of that reconciliation. Blessings on your journey.

Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  7-15-2008
I understand these words at a much deeper level in my heart now. Though understanding and arriving here in this place is a journey I would wish on no one. It is only a matter of time and patience here on this earth that we have to share the treasure of Christ within us. To bring as many as we can with us. It is a great motto. One that will walk with me until the day I'm raised up with Jesus. Father God open our eyes to opportunities surrounding us today to share the treasure of Jesus. Give us boldness and Grace and compassion for your kid's both walking and those who don't KNOW You. Help us to extend a hand or hug to someone who might need it. Amen... May you be blessed on your journey today

by Krazy4U  7-13-2008
I don't know about you but I have people in my life who have trouble seeing the value of a personal relationship with Jesus. They look at religion and get caught and disappointed by corruption and abuse of power and are blocked from seeing Jesus. Until we turn to Jesus and seek His face there is a veil. Those around us may not see or understand. I love verse 17 too. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom!! May our transformation draw others to seek the face of Jesus Christ. Do you smell something?
Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  7-11-2008
I love this word picture! As I sit here I can smell the aroma of coffee. It's everywhere in my kitchen as I brew it. I love the smell of coffee. I've been in gardens where the fragrance of flowers was wonderfully intoxicating. We have an opportunity to carry the fragrance of Christ into all our circumstances and relationships. To some it will be beautiful and they will love it and others it will challenge them and they may not want it. But, it is the gift we have as Christ ones to love those God places in our lives and to allow His presence to move among us. Do you smell of Jesus! I hope I do. What a wonderful compliment that would be. Blessings on your journey

by Krazy4U  7-10-2008
It is in this that my hope resides. That my Sammy is now enjoying the Spiritual body one that does not decay. And one that resides every minute in the presence of God. It is also my destination so one day I'll be united with Christ and also my loved ones that have gone before me. The final passage was what Sam highlighted and is the challenge for us all. 1Corinthians 15:58 Therefore be steadfast, and immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord!  I love how it showcases in the Bible that even then close to when Jesus was crucified. While there were still eyewitnesses alive who saw Jesus appear after His Resurrection people had questions and didn't all believe the same thing. It's showcased here in these passages. I for one believe in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Blessings on your Journey

What do you believe?
Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  6-25-2008
1 Corinthians 15 plainly lays out the facts! I am so thankful that this was one of Sam's favorite scriptures. vs (1) Now I make known to you, brethren the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand. and then it continues as clipped. I plan on staying in this chapter for a few days one because Sam loved it and two because it speaks of resurrection and the hope to come. It is my belief that Sam is now enjoying the resurrected state with Jesus. Which though my heart is broken that he is not here with me I am at peace because he is fully restored with Jesus. And it is my destination too. So one day soon we will also be restored to one another. This passage speaks of what is to come. If you have any insights and would like to share feel free. Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  6-20-2008
This passage I think is familiar to all of us due to the constant use of it in weddings. Which of course is appropriate because it's principles are so amazing. The bar is set high to achieve Love. To Love another is hard work yet so fulfilling. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; I love that verse. It's where we are headed on our journey. Then we will know fully and be known. Keep shooting at that target! never give up. Blessings on your journey today... Kris

If you journey into this clip make sure you read the whole chapter! One of my very favorite lines in these passages is the end of vs 3 no one can say, "Jesus is Lord" except by the Holy Spirit! Another cool touch point with God. We have all been given gifts and God is not stingy with His Spirit! Seek after Him and He will show you. These are things that I can only say to you but will not make a difference unless you put the time in. Don't underestimate yourselves. God can and will do in and through you the same things that Jesus and the apostles did as they walked. And even greater, it is promised in scripture. I know that God has a plan for me and for you to impact this world for eternity. Our destination is set! What is your story? Blessing on your journey today! Kris

To be Known
Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  6-19-2008
I think one of the greatest desires of our hearts is to be known. By our friends and family. To get past the question How are you doing? but not really waiting for the answer. You know the conversations. From people who don't really expect an answer and might be taken aback to hear what you really have to say. To be known by another and accepted is one of the deepest desires of all our hearts. I just wanted to highlight this Psalm because it speaks of how personally our God knows us. And the depth of His desire to be in communication with us. We have a personal Savior and a personal God. Who desires a deep and meaningful relationship with us. This psalm speaks of how God formed our innermost parts and writes our stories. As difficult as they may be at times. I pray that today your time spent with Him will be blessed and fruitful. I'm glad to be on the journey with you. Kris

by Krazy4U  6-17-2008
I'm a famous one for tripping in the oddest places! Ha falling up the stairs. running into stationary objects. Its sad really but I've accepted this about myself. Yet, when it comes to the things of God. I try to live in such a way that it will encourage others to choose Jesus. This is what I think is the heart of 1 Corinthians 8. I also will avoid doing things that might cause someone who might see me to think that it is okay in the excess. My goal is that by my lifestyle others are drawn to a deeper walk with Jesus. I'm sure like others I've messed up and not measured up here and there yet it is what I'm shooting at! HA... I have a friend who spoke of shooting arrows at a bullseye. He said to me if you miss the red do you give up?? No of course not you pick up the bow and practice again and again till you get it right. Well the same is with our Christian walk. We may not always hit the red but we need to keep trying! Blessings on your journey Kris

Ours is an active faith a friendship where we need to call and check in everyday. Where we touch base not just once during the day but often. I Love this passage because God is passionate for His people. Take the time to soak in this chapter. See how the Lord wishes to move you. Maybe he will show you someone that He wishes to love through you. Isn't that fantastic! Our lives here are about destination. And bringing as many as we can with us. Blessings on your journey. Kris

Foolishness
Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  6-10-2008
Isn't it surprising that the church is arguing about who is better? Who's teaching is best?? Hmmm hate to say it but that sounds so familiar.... vs (18) For the word of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. I truly believe that it is God that lifts the veil. Don't we all have loved ones who just don't understand our belief in Jesus. Who think our choices are foolish. Yet, the desire of our hearts are for them to KNOW God. For then of course they would understand. It would all become clear. Stand firm beloved!! Nothing you do for the Lord is in vain on this earth. God's word will accomplish what its been sent to do. Fix your eyes on Jesus and may your day be full of the peace that transcends all understanding. You who believe, you are walking son's and daughters of God! Ambassadors to the kingdom. Lift up your head and your hands. He will watch over you. Kris

Isaiah 57

vs (1) The righteous man perishes, and no man takes it to heart; And devout men are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous man is taken away from evil, It continues in the clipped passages... These words bring some sort of comfort because my Sam was a strong believer. That he is away from evil and now in a safe place does bring peace though I miss him so much! It's been 8 months now since we lost him. God is our shelter. Don't waste your time here. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. He brings peace to those who stand firm and fix their eyes on Him. Even where it seems impossible to have peace. Blessings in the Journey, Kris

Unity
Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  6-9-2008
I will always believe that as we unite together as believers in Christ Jesus and all He has done for us that the fullness of God will be among us. The Word of God is given to us as encouragement and hope. As it was when Paul journeyed to share Jesus with the Gentiles so it is today. People still need to know Jesus and we as believers need to be united and love one another in His Holy Spirit. It is in doing this that more people will have opportunities to KNOW Jesus. And as we work in this together we can be encouraged and more able to grow in our own walks together with Christ. We aren't suppose to walk all by ourselves but with one another in community. I think that is why church is so very important. That we come together to praise Him with one voice in unity to encourage and build up the body to then go out and reach the rest of the world for Jesus. Journeying with you... Kris

Come to the waters; And you who have no money come , buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost. I LOVE Isaiah 55 the whole thing. I could only clip parts of course by I hope you will be drawn in to camp out for hours there. I am so thankful that God does not think like me or you for that matter. That His ways are far from ours. For I would much prefer to be before the Lord than even my own peers. I also love that God's Word never returns to Him empty that it will accomplish what it has set out to do. One of my favorite things it to pray scripture out loud because of this very passage. I believe the Word of God will change the air that you are breathing in a room. And so all three of the chapters that I am posting today I'll be reading out loud. They are all powerful. And the Words will impact me and those around me. Much love on your journey... Kris

Romans 14 is fascinating for me the whole thing. It showcases so many of the arguments between believers. I will not enter into denomination bashing or elevate one church over another today because of what they do or don't do. I just want to encourage everyone as Christ followers! Live in the Spirit and don't cause your brothers and sisters to fall because of obstacles you have place before them. If we were to follow after Jesus and be united in His love the world would truly be a different place. I love that God has given us the Word and stories and admonishments that held true then and now.  (1)O God you are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water. I met with and insurance guy yesterday. He was showing me what my return on the life insurance would be as I got older. He mentioned living to 100 and I said. I hope not HA! Why you ask? because this is a dry and weary land and I long for the restoration of heaven. My son Sam went before the rest of us. My heart is still broken but I know that He is restored with Jesus. He is where we all long to be. Because of the past months I believe I am more heaven minded. Isaiah 51:1 says... Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, Who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, And to the quarry from which you were dug. Sometimes, it takes us coming to peace with our past in order to move forward with our future. Don't run away from where you've come from. Fix your eyes on Jesus and walk through it with Him!

Ransom
Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  6-6-2008
I love all of Isaiah 50 but it captures me the question asked by God. Is My hand so short that it cannot ransom?? Or have I no power to deliver? When you think about it isn't it ridiculous to think that God can't do anything! What are we trusting in? What are we worried about? Is our God a personal God or not? I for one believe you must seek Him and know His Word. If you don't do those things than well I can understand your uncertainty and worry. There are so many places in the Word of God which talk about God being found by those who seek Him. Numerous times it is mentioned. What are you waiting for? He is waiting for you! No more excuses... I don't have time... I don't understand the Bible... etc. Seek Him with all your heart and He will be found by you. Seek first the kingdom of God and all things will follow. Fix your eyes on Him and He will give you the desire of your heart. Have a beautiful day in Jesus! Much Love, Kris

What is your gift?
Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  6-5-2008
I could have clipped this entire chapter. I love the admonishment in (3) to not think more highly of yourself. Sounds as if they struggled then with some of the same ways and attitudes we have now. The point is God has gifted you as part of the body of Christ here on earth! What are your gifts? In what way will you contribute to the Kingdom of God here on earth? Each gift is important to build the body. Believe me, I understand that even more now as different parts of my body do not work. My eyes for example aren't working together. They don't track yet. It effects everything. Imagine if we all chose to work together to build the Kingdom of God here on earth. There is power in agreement and unity. Each person looking out for the others. What a fantastic idea of community. Father God, I thank you that you have given us tastes of this on earth. Let us be tools to continue those things You wish to accomplish in and through us. Happy reading. In Jesus Name, Much Love, Kri

 (31) Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. I love the Word I pulled out today so much. It truly makes my spirit sing as I read it. For I learned these Words in song. My heart desires it so I will wait on the Lord. Are you waiting for something too? Isn't it hard to wait? In our world of drive through meals and now even coffee ( I must confess that I love that) Where we can make an order online and have it delivered a day or two later. Instant gratification in most things. Waiting like this makes me wonder... has God forgotten me? Yet I know if He forgot me for a second I would cease to breathe. Pregnancy is another one of those things you can't rush. But when you are waiting you are anticipating right? preparing for the outcome. Getting things ready... learning how to breathe and change diapers. And so I wait.... Much Love, Kris

Refuge & Adversity
Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  6-3-2008
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble. The rest is clipped below. He covers us. I was remembering some of the ways I saw God's hand in the accident on Oct. 9th. It was as if God had his angels place their hands over our eyes and ears. So little do we remember about being hit by that semi. I believe though He did not prevent it He was present. Isaiah 30:18-21 verse 18 wouldn't clip so here it is.... (18) Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him. I picture these words like this... A parent hearing their child cry out will come running from wherever they are at to help. And for those of us who are parents you never stop listening in case your child might need you. That's a powerful love that our God has for us. As for me my eyes will seek the Lord. Much Love, Kris

by Krazy4U  6-1-2008
I turn to this passage all the time. As a reminder, to fix my mind on Christ. For the promise is perfect peace. In fact I think I would benefit from reading this everyday. Maybe I'll do some font art and tape it to my bathroom mirror. There are so many distractions attacking our ability to believe. Many who wonder why do you believe?... Look at your circumstances, Look what you have lost yet It is because of those very questions that I will dig my heals deep. I am a Child of God and His promises apply to me. I will seek Him until I come before Him. And then my restoration will be complete. How about you? What have you decided ?? For life can be very hard. My daughter said to me the other day that's not fair! I'm sorry (I laughed I know terrible) I told her the truth... What in life is fair?  Romans 8: I was only able to clip a little. Romans 8:28 speaks of God causing all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. I really have struggled with that and have come into some sort of acceptance I guess. Regarding my own personal loss and tragedy. My comfort coming in knowing how much Sammy (my son)loved Jesus before he died. Even my physical challenges now. God will somehow use to His glory. Yet it is hard to swallow. A journey I wouldn't raise my hand to volunteer for. Anyhow this next section is profound. And we can hang on to the promises in these words. Death for us is not the end. It is our right of passage. If you are reading this then I know you are set apart and called to be one of His kingdom walkers hereon earth, a Christ One. The only reason I say that is because who else would give my words the time of day.! I'm happy to be on the journey with you. Much Love Kris

Son's and Daughter's
Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  5-30-2008
These next verses are amazing if you consider the direct impact they can have on you and those around you. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you. Are you catching this?? The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you!!! And yes I'm repeating myself because it is simply profound. So we are truly not bound by the flesh! Not only that but the Spirit testifies that we are sons and daughters of God. As we fix our eyes and minds on Jesus we can overcome those things that try and keep us enslaved. Because He is more than able to do in and through us those things that keep us from Spirit filled living. Do you realize that you are royalty? Are you walking as a representative of your family. We forget don't we? Do butterfly's still crawl on the ground like worms once they are transformed?? Yet we forget who we are and who we belong to. The Spirit testifies on our behalf. Remember who you are a daughter/son to the King. And walk with purpose.

Flesh & Spirit
Krazy4U
by Krazy4U  5-29-2008
There is no condemnation for one who is in Christ Jesus. What does that mean for you? For me it means everything. The challenge is to fix your eyes and mind on Jesus. What is the difference between Flesh and Spirit?? The flesh is selfish, angry, lustful, impatient, jealous idol worship ,death... I know for me I will have days with my kid's where we will stop in the middle and say a prayer to change our attitudes and fix our minds on Jesus and the air in the room changes at that moment. Sometimes, it just takes the willingness to admit that you are in the flesh and to refocus on Jesus to bring things right. Will every Christian struggle? Look at Paul who wrote Romans 7. therein is our challenge to live by the Spirit. And to understand and encourage one another in that walk. The Spirit is life and peace. The flesh is hostile towards God. Romans 8 cont. I hope you will keep reading. I plan on camping out here for a few days. Much Love, Kris

Thank You Jesus for giving us these words that we might be understood and encouraged. The desires of your heart!

Pirates of the Carribean Jack Sparrow carried a compass which pointed the way to the desires of his heart. the problem was as he spent time with a certain person and enjoyed that person she became the desire of his heart verses the treasure they were seeking. What fickle hearts we have HA! In Psalm 37 it says delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. I think He knows that as we seek after Him. He will become the desire of our heart. I really love this Psalm...It says Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it. So often we trust in our own abilities. But ultimately The Lord wants to move us forward and He will do it!! and so I will wait on Him and trust that He has my best in mind. He is the One who holds my hand. Amen

Amazing Grace

by Krazy4U  5-26-2008
Through one man we were all stained with the mark of sin and Through another we are covered in grace for all time. Amazing, only God could have thought of how to bring us back to Him. That our loving Father desired relationship so much that He provided a way through Jesus is... well it brings tears to my eyes. I hope that what I'm walking through will build character. If you read all of Romans 5 you won't be disappointed it speaks of Christ dying for us while we were still sinners. Not all cleaned up and worth dying for. God see what we do not. Please don't underestimate your value! Our Father in Heaven desired so much a relationship with you that He made a way for you through Jesus Christ don't miss it! My son Sam was created by God and had an amazing presence. No one else is like him. When he died we lost that here. Though because of Jesus we will be together again his presence is so very missed. Your value what God has given you... There's no one like you.

Psalm 34 says it all. The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous And His ears are open to their cry. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit. Therefore He is near to me. Let us exalt His name together. I was fearful once. So much so that I would sleep with my Bible under my head at night. My dreams so fierce and fears so real. Yet the Lord has delivered me from them. My life is in His hands. My days are numbered by Him. I will seek after and Praise the Lord for He alone is worthy. Let us exalt His name! Praise be to Jesus Christ! Who laid down His life that we might live. Amen
