About me
Chris Ward | London

ideas, culture, cafes, family, friends & sport

I have previously founded two marketing agencies, working with many of the UK's most well known bands, movies, video games and brands in the process, including leading to its PR success the first social networking website Friends Reunited.

In 2003, after ten years, I sold both Beatwax and Firstmovies and being 40 set out to achieve more with my body than my brain and to help raise funds for cancer charities: I mtn bike raced across the Rockies and the Alps, have run 6 international marathons, cycled from Lands End To John O’Groats, climbed the Three Peaks, learnt to ski, completed duathlons & triathlons and road bike races across Europe.

In 2006 I founded isporty.com, with some funding from premiership football players and Terry Venables amongst others! The site is the UK’s sports news and social UGC aggregator and counts the BBC, Adidas & Red Bull amongst its clients.

I’m have four young children, Molly, Bob, Rose & Audrey. I am a West Ham United supporting Samaritan - which is a useful combination.

Not a great film - but there's a great idea in there. A video shop with showroom dummies doubling as customers - expect to see them appear in retailers soon - makes the shop (or restaurant!) look busy - gets you in there anyway.....

It does look and feel excellent - the view being better than the live audience being the only thing that stops you thinking you are 'there'. Would have preferred to have seen the 'PopMart' tour done like this though - with all the effects etc - rather than this traditional 'Vertigo' rock gig.
