You know, with all the public outcry against ALL sex offenders, it's not often that you find a voice of reason, or if you do it is quickly snuffed out by all the hysteria surrounding it. As bad as you may think sex offenders are, particularly ones involved with minors, they are still people. Murderers, among other criminal types don't suffer the same kind of oppression that sex offenders do, and yet plenty of times their crimes far exceed the damage of the sex offenders. So why do sex offenders get the short end of the stick? I say it's because of the American's need to have something to demonize, and whenever you can tie something, even loosely, to the loss of innocence in a child, you have a perfect candidate to attack. By oppressing sex offenders more and more, rather than creating a safer community, you are creating a large group that is far more dangerous than they would be otherwise. POPS12 Year Old Becomes Youngest To Ever Have Sex Change Operation As a parent of a disabled child who's considering stopping my daughter's menstrual cycle from even starting, I honestly can't tell one parent what is right with their child and what is wrong. (My daughter is missing part of her brain and autistic and at the age of 11 has the mentality of a 5 year old.) If his, now her, doctors, parents, and themselves, felt this was the right course of action, then who are we to say. I'm sure others might feel otherwise, such as in the case of the parents who removed all reproductive organs of the paraplegic child, including breast tissue that was a hot topic no more than a couple weeks ago.
