POPSCooking Monster He did THAT and the Mrs. jumped on me for some unknown reason... something about 'watch him'... isn't taking a photo of someone a qualification for 'watching' them? I certainly thought so (still do)...

POPSQlipBoard - Import, Record, Share No, it's not a Qlipmarks replacement but it is rather useful for certain things. You can import photos, add drawings, record voice-overs, capture screens and dump everything on YouTube in the end or on your hard drive or...

POPSLaw & Order - Original DA It's nice to have such prominent relatives. He's the only one I have of such high profile... but still nice. We visited with his mom pretty often when we came to the States. Got to know one of his sisters very well too. Nice family.

POPSPhoto/Postcard Stand - super cheap Here's an interesting idea - take a tealight candle holder, cut it in half with scissors as shown. Flip it upside down and stick a photo/postcard in between the halves. The photo of course doesn't have to be as in the example shown.

POPSSmart, fast & beautiful - What kind of bird is it?
I was driving home and right before getting into my driveway spotted this little guy taking a brisk walk next to the road. Obviously this kind of color would catch the eye, certainly did mine... enough so to leave my son sleeping in the car while I grabbed my digital and crossed the road to shoot him/her. The bird seem to be pretty savvy about encountering humans and quickly sped away from me. When I tried to circle to get a better look - it immediately shot into the opposite direction, very quickly and amazingly astutely, especially considering the fact that you couldn't even tell she saw me (the head never turned). I didn't want to spook her too much, but shot a few shots. Then I did get a little closer and the little guy just took off. Didn't seem like she could fly (because she wouldn't), but boy, when I picked up pace - she really started running away and just for kicks I picked up my pace, only to be matched and then some by her, keeping comfortable lead. What kind is it?
