POPSBUSH MOVES TOWARD MARTIAL LAW Please read the second paragraph. Detention Centers are being built for protesters, illegal aliens (yeah, right), "potential" terrorists, and "undesirables?" Does anyone have any proof of this other than this article? Because I REALLY just can't believe it. It sounds like an urban legend to me.

POPSUndocumented Immigrant Saves Boy Mr. Cordova's reward? Cordova, meanwhile, was taken into custody by Border Patrol agents who were the first to respond to the call for help. He had been trying to walk into the U.S. when he came across the boy. As Santa Cruz County, AZ Sheriff Sheriff Tony Estrada says: Cordova likely saved the boy and his actions should remind people not to quickly characterize all illegal immigrants as criminals.

POPSWhat Part Of Illegal Don't You Understand? "We are stuck with a bogus, deceptive strategy — a 700-mile fence on a 2,000-mile border to stop a fraction of border crossers who are only 60 percent of the problem anyway, and scattershot raids to capture a few thousand members of a group of 12 million. None of those enforcement policies have a trace of honesty or realism. At least they don’t reward illegals, and that, for now, is all this country wants."

POPSImmigration / Descrimination Who among us can truly say that our ancestors would have been allowed into America by the criteria we now impose on newer immigrants? Is anyone willing to say that America would have been a better place without them?

POPSUS Farmers: "Adios USA, Viva Mexico" Precise statistics are not readily available on American farming in Mexico, because growers seek to maintain a low profile for their operations abroad. But Senator Dianne Feinstein, Democrat of California, displayed a map on the Senate floor in July locating more than 46,000 acres that American growers were cultivating in just two Mexican states, Guanajuato and Baja California. “Farmers are renting land in Mexico,” Ms. Feinstein said. “They don’t want us to know that.” She predicted that more American farmers would move to Mexico for the ready work force and lower wages. Ms. Feinstein favored a measure in the failed immigration bill that would have created a new guest worker program for agriculture and a special legal status for illegal immigrant farm workers.

POPSDrunk Illegal from Mexico kills 23 month old child Also being held at the Houston jail is Juan Felix Salinas, 42 who, drunk, caused a fiery wreck Aug 11 that killed a family of three. It is illuminating in the light of these outrages, that the liberals in New York City want to give illegals driving licences. Of course the real reason the liberals actively participate in the slaughter of innocents is that all that is required for ID in the voting booth is a driver's license. These liberals are risking our loved ones' lives for the votes of illegals. This is outrageous!

POPSA Forbidden Zone Where Blacks Risk Death If They Enter 1/2/2006 Earl Ofari Hutchinson The Huffington Post This is not a bad case of racial paranoia run amok. Blacks have been taunted, harassed, beaten and shot at in this community. But the tragic murder of a 14-year-old black girl and the wounding of two other young blacks in the forbidden zone sparked anguish, rage, and finally drew some local media attention. The murder drew gasps of disbelieve that in America in 2007 in a big, Northern cosmopolitan city, with a Latino mayor, and that routinely back pats itself for its ethnic diversity, there is an entire area that blacks are banned from on pain of injury or death at the hands of other non-whites. And city officials seem powerless to do anything about it.

POPSTwo Border agents get 12 years for doing job. This is the saddest and most enraging article I have read recently. These poor guys were doing their job and go to jail for 11 and 12 years for wounding...yes wounding...a drug smuggler. What the hell is going on here really? Turns out some of these agents and prosecutors are good friends with...guess who...President Bush.

POPSIllegals deporting themselves One of the counters by the amnesty crowd is always "how are you going to deport the millions who are here illegally?" My answer has always been that you won't have to deport them because they will deport themselves. If they come here for the jobs and the jobs go away, then so will they. I think the US as a whole needs to follow Arizona's example and then create a more robust guest worker program that will allow for workers from other countries to come here legally to work. But under no circumstances should we reward criminal behavior with US citizenship.

POPSThe Mystery of BedBugs What's the mystery? Millions of filthy illegal immigrants flooding into our country and they can't figure out where the bedbugs are coming from???

POPSNY Times Opinion on the Border Fence I've never been a fan of the border fence. It seems to me that it's only going to keep out the lazy, not the determined. I don't think that spending billions to build (how much to maintain?!) a fence that won't be very effective makes any sense.

POPS"Southern White Guys Like Me May Be In The Minority"
It is clear that Gov. Huckabee has sold out to the corporations desiring more illegal immigration. No doubt, he received large contributions for his political campaign from Tyson Foods. The Republican governor has backed in-state tuition bills for illegals and been against bills that would require verification of citizenship to vote and report illegals in the country. "Huckabee is ready to sell out Americans and the good citizens of Arkansas at every turn." He said, "Arkansas needs to make the transition from a traditional Southern state to one that recognizes and cherishes diversity "in culture, in language and in population." In other words, surrender to the illegals. Sooner or later John Tyson is going to jail and the sooner the better. His company has been relentless in replacing Americans with low wage illegals. Tyson Foods escaped prosecution and palmed the hiring of illegals on to a few "rogue" plant managers, rather than a deliberate corporate policy.

POPSHouse erupts in chaos Within our Information Age, our politicians can not operate in secrecy and isolation anymore. Everything they say and do will be reported. This is troubling enough, but that the vote was so close is even more disturbing. Surely there are *citizens* of the United States who would like access to these US tax dollars....seeing as we must have so much we can allocate to illegal/undocumented ones too. Perhaps this money, that so many want to give to non-citizens and/or taxpayers, could be set aside for Infrastructure!!

POPS WE MUST STOP THIS INSANITY! Thankfully -- and not a moment too soon -- the bill brought forth by Rep. King introduces a much-needed measure of common sense to the current debate, and he already has 156 co-sponsors. As House Republican Whip Roy Blunt (R-MO) said earlier this week, "These lawmakers understand, as do the vast majority of Americans, that allowing illegal aliens to sign up for valid, legal ID is bad transportation policy, worse immigration policy, and an unconscionable national security policy. And though it may take another week or two for Sen. Clinton and Gov. Spitzer to arrive at that conclusion themselves, the American people knew it the minute it was offered -- and have since joined the rest of us in looking on in sheer bewilderment."

POPSLA forces businesses to support criminal activity Just when I think I can't be surprised by laws coming out of California, they go and prove me wrong. So they go and tell Home Depot that they must support crime by making cushy quarters for criminals and Home Depot says okay? Oh well, Lowe's is closer to home anyway.

POPSNewark execution murders update This is one of the most tragic stories I've ever read about. The perps in this case made these kids kneel and then shot them, execution-style in the backs of their heads. There are gang ties to th
