POPSClipmarks encourages censorship? I thought I might share some tidbits I have learned about censorship here on Clipmarks. Many of know (or maybe not) that you can 'block' comments by other clip users on your clipmarks. While this may be a tool, it appears it only supports those who would mis-use it. Anyone with an opposing opinion can be silenced if the clipper doesnt want others to see anyones comments but those they agree with. I'm ashamed of Clipmarks for allowing this 'tool' to be so easily misused, without any administrative or moderator based decision. So much for the open exchange of free thought and viewpoints.

POPSChina - The Toxic Republic China, in the hurry to grow economically, may have set the example of 'How not to do it'. Cheaper does NOT equate to better.

POPSChina finds problems with kids' snack foods Ooops. They did it again...and again and again. When is the world going to wake up and realize China is NOT the great world trade partner they think they are? My products are made in the U.S.A. amd will stay that way.

POPSU.S. missiles pound targets in Afghanistan, Sudan A history refresher for those of you that have been asleep. Make sure you read the whole story at the source. Clinton dropped the ball way back then and many of today's world events are due to this. They say hindsight is 20/20. After reading this you should have a good grasp of where we were headed way back then, and why, we are where we are today.

POPSIran fuel rations spark anger, rioting Hmm... Iran is swimming in oil but has to import about 40% of their gasoline. Sounds like they are in for alot worse soon if their government doesn't pull it's collective head out of the peoples asses.

POPS60 dead, including Taliban, after boat sinks Too bad O.B.L. wasn't one of them. Of note is the large numbers that attended a rally in Pakistan the REAL hotbed of Al Queda. We need to be done with Pakistan once and for all, they are a big problem, not a help.

POPSMusic piracy crackdown nets college kids I have been screaming on this site about Cyveilance and people wo D/L music and movies with P2P programs...now you know why. Expect more of these lawsuits from your 'friends' at the RIAA and MPAA.

POPSSearching the net? You might want this... McAfee Site advisor is a free download toolbar that checks the website urls you type against its updated database. It is a fairly simple way for those lacking in firewall, security and prevention skills to help protect thier computer. The Coolest feature is that it integrates with Google searches, and lists its own approval rating (safe, bad, unknown) next to each search entry.

POPSHamas MIckey Rip-off BACK ON THE AIR Imagine that. They are saying that this show is O.K. Because it has 'educational values' . Guess somebodys definition of education needs to be refined, to say the least.

POPSGuy tries to catch glasses with his face... FAKE I guess some didn' like me picking apart their (very computer edited)'viral' video...tough. If it wasn't so poorly edited, I never would have noticed. Apparently I'm not the ONLY one calling it a cheap fake either. You tube users are not that dumb. What could have been a great video idea was ruined by poor execution. Oh, and thanks for blocking me...you gave the reason to clip my own.

POPSBuy American. Or you will pay the piper later. I know a lot of people complain and make a BIG deal out of companies that use 'sweat shops' to make clothing items. And then they go and buy everything else in their households from CHINA. Talk about hypocrisy. Think, before buy. The country and jobs you save may be your own.

POPSExporter mislabeled tainted pet food ingredient Well, well. Imagine that. All those people saying we need more regulations and FDA inspections to prevent this couldn't have prevented it anyway. If a compnay wants to deceive people on purpose, they will and do. BUY AMERICAN PRODUCTS! and quit complaining about crap you buy from China! You get what you pay for.

POPSVERY COOL user map site. See where all the Clippers are! THIS would be great for Clipmarks. If all the users added themselves at profile sign up time, you would have a world-wide map of where we all are! I'll wait for Eric & Co to go ahead and start the map, if they like it everyone else can add themselves if they want.
