I started here hoping for meaningful dialogue; an exchange of ideas with which to broaden my understanding of politics, religion, environment and most importantly the people and values that people base their beliefs upon. Although I have found alot of rhetoric, sarcasm, and fools. I have also found alot of wisdom, considerate communication and discussion that although occasionally heated, seems productive.
I admit I do enjoy witty comments, and snark, and am not above using these vehicles of expression myself, I try to see past these things to the heart of the issues.
I thoroughly enjoy the diversity of topics clipped and of people clipping.
Also, it's an interesting little microcosm.
