I am a lawyer and the mayor of my town. I like to read, fish and think. I did play golf regurarly, but I kept getting better at doing bad, I decided to lay off a while, then quit altogether. I am a liberal. libertarian. I like to discuss politics and religion. Learning new things and changing my mind or two of my favorite things. I am an absolutist when it comes to freedom of speech. I believe that government is the natural enemy of freedom. The Bill of Rights were written to protect us from the heavy hand of government, not to protect government from us. Big business has bought our elected representatives. Campaign contributions are bribes, clear and simple. If big contributors did not expect something from their big contributions, why give them? The legislator becomes addicted to the money, therefore, they do whatever is necessary to keep the money coming. Pity.

To gather many different opinions and eclectic ideas. Something to do rather than watching television. Something to enjoy and a way to meet people on line that can carry on an interesting conversation.
