And now the European press appears to have finally (?) found a replacement for the Jewish people that they used to malign and attack. Anti-Islam/Muslimism appears to now have officially replaced anti-Jewish sentiments in Europe. The roots of these attacks are the same: an inability to acknowledge and respect a diversity of people that might result in a Europe that is non-White and/or non-Christian. The anti-Muslim/Islam cartoons of today are little different than the anti-Jewish cartoons that were published by the Nazis during WW II."

POPSLearn Out Loud This site is fabulous and one of my favourites. When you get tired, why not just lean back and let someone else do the reading for a change. LOTS of stuff here, to make you smarter. Go rummage through the titles. Tons of stuff for FREE and all downloadable. :) I clipped just a few titles at the end (until I ran out of characters) to show you what sort of stuff they offer. Enjoy! .:)

POPSBest freeware in category, over 200 programs There is a big list The biggest I've seen, (there are no doubt bigger ones.) There is bound to be something you can use. I guessed the number of programs, and may have lost count, but you can see how many with the link.

POPSVirtual Barber Shop (Audio...use headphones) You've gotta love your brain and the way it can translate phase and timing differences in sound into a spatial map, without you really having to think about it. You'll need headphones for this to work.

POPS10 Incredible Recordings I feel that I should advise that a couple of the items here are quite horrific and I would recommend that those who are weak of heart or who have a nervous disposition avoid them. The items I am referring to are marked in the text. The items are not in any particular order as it is very hard to rate the historical importance versus the just plain weird value.

POPSHearing Voices (of advertisers) Serious ethical issues are raised by some of the potential uses of hypersonic sound, because the projected messages are imposed upon people against their will, and could perhaps be used to subtly manipulate behaviour.

POPSSorry Got To Go (someone is at the door) This is so neat. Need to end a phone call fast, select Door Bell sound. Although, may not work with a modem. If you're tired of getting stuck on the phone with an endless talker and don't know how to cut the conversation off, this site's for you. Audio clips of things like a baby crying or a smoke alarm going off eliminate the need for you to make an excuse to hang up!
