Why I use Clipmarks
Clipmarks is an excellent research tool, easier to communicate news quickly than composing emails, can be "Dugg", linked, etc., and is easier when wanting to cite sources of news information for blog posting. I used to literally print articles from the web, now I Clip them instead. Great tool.

Bush, Mukasey, Cheney Claim Exec Privilege, Obstructing in Plame Case
blueridge
by blueridge  7-18-2008
But the Executive has no "privilege" to violate the law, nor to obstruct justice. And Cheney, by his own words, is not part of the "executive branch". Mukasey, the new AG replacing Alberto (Speedy) Gonzales, shows why he was chosen by Bush, i.e. to continue to obstruct justice. As even republican federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald said on the Plame case, "a cloud hangs over the VP office", and Scott McClellan just opened up and published his account that Bush personally admitted authorizing the Plame leak! This is stonewalling to avoid prosecution for a "high crime" worthy of impeachment by George and Dick both.

Pope Mesmerizes Bush Toward Catholicism, Religion of Tyrants
blueridge
by blueridge  6-15-2008    3
Not surprising considering his religious superstition, theological ignorance, and false Christian views of war (contrary to Christian principles of "Just Wars" of self defense alone) and worship of democracy as a means of saving the world through military Crusades. He would fit right in with tyrants of Holy Roman Empires of the past. The Tower of St. John impressed him--Rome mesmerizes its ignorant victims through superstition, priest-craft, and relics and symbols, without which it is essentially empty. By the way, this is not to let pagans escape, for some of them were also among the greatest tyrants of imperial wars as well--i.e. Alexander the Great (who was a bisexual pedophile), Caligula, Nero, Pharaohs of Egypt and Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon to name a few. Babylon the Great is typified in the Bible as a final world empire that will be destroyed, headed by a false Christian leader, whom the Reformers believed were Roman Popes but would also fit false Christian presidents

GLOBE: White House Cocaine Scandal--Bush Uses as President?
blueridge
by blueridge  6-11-2008    1
Bush is a user as President! The cover story of Globe now. Remember when he "fell" while watching a football game and "choking on a pretzel" on a Sunday after 9/11 and had a big bruise near his eye? It was also published he has had fits of paranoia, and other reports said he saw ghosts coming out of the walls at the White House. Bush found the White House a "creepy place," Mr. Draper writes. After exercising in a White House gym one evening, Mr. Bush told a friend he froze in his steps while approaching the Lincoln Bedroom. Mr. Bush insists "he saw ghosts -- coming out of the wall," according to a friend. This is typical of tyrants and madmen in history--Caligula, Nero, Nebuchadnezzer, etc..

Impeachment Against Bush Introduced
blueridge

the Senate Intelligence report recently lends solid ground (see previous Clipmark): Article 1 - Creating a secret propaganda campaign to manufacture a false case for war against Iraq." Go to the Raw Story article to view the video of its introduction by Kucinich. Sad state of affairs, when a Congressman has to fight his own party Speaker to get the House to order and serious-mindedness about upholding the laws of the land!

Senate Panel Rebukes Bush/Cheney on Iraq War Propaganda
blueridge
by blueridge  6-5-2008
Powerful statement and true: the administration repeatedly presented intelligence as fact when in reality it was unsubstantiated, contradicted, or even nonexistent But note this: The report amounts to the most direct rebuke to date of the Bush administration's use of intelligence to build support for the Iraq war. But the document, which catalogs hundreds of statements by administration officials, stops short of calling for any further inquiry or punishment. Is not this grounds for impeachment--misleading a nation, and Congress, to go to war? What! All this misleading and lying, but no accountability?

Bush Talks of Another 9/11, Points to Pakistan
blueridge
by blueridge  4-15-2008    1
Assigning blame to a particular country in advance is not only suspicious, but it suggests that a new war theatre is about to open. Ironically, the Pakistani ISI wired $100,000 to Mohammad Attah (one of the key patsies used for 9/11 blame, without evidence) just prior to 9/11. Who wants to wager if another "catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor" will happen before Bush leaves office and before the November elections? It would be too convenient, and benefit only the neocon war agenda. "Motive, means, opportunity" are the key considerations for determining who is behind an event. Israel and the neocons would benefit most and have more means and opportunity, and the ability to cast blame through well placed propagandists into the MSM--just as they benefited most from 9/11, to execute their blueprint for a "new middle east" via "regime change".

Post-9/11 Memo Shows Disdain for Constitution
blueridge
by blueridge  4-4-2008
Bush's "Justice" Dept had written memo claiming that 4th amendment of the Constitution "did not apply". The administration now disavows this position, it claims, yet we see little evidence of their disavowal in regard to civil liberties when it comes to domestic spying, the PATRIOT ACT, REAL ID, or a host of other examples. It was Bush who blurted out that the Constitution is "just a g--damned piece of paper" , when legal challenges were warned of.

McCain Presidency: Neocons on Steroids
blueridge
by blueridge  3-27-2008    1
"McCain would make Bush look like Ghandi", is what some are saying, and here is why: Take a look at what insiders say about McCain's foreign policy. Then look at his list of neoconservative advisers, particularly William Kristol (who led the Project for New American Century and their blueprint for a "new middle east") and former CIA director James Woolsey, whom former Colin Powell chief of Staff Wilkerson calls "scary". Note his plan for a "League of Democracies" (this is the global plan for PAX AMERICANA, per Clarence K. Streit in 1942) to "bypass the balky United Nations" for a more unilateral approach to gaining international support for war. McCain, though despised by many conservatives, is a dangerous neocon weapon of mass destruction who indeed will make Bush look like Ghandi.

The question is, why? Maybe someone asked a "favor" of him or Alberto (speedy) Gonzales, who also came from Texas, where these crimes took place. This man even confessed to the murders. Bush used a Vienna Convention (international) statute as the basis for the request for retrial. This had to be either personally or politically motivated.

War in Iraq Conceived in Israel, Election 2008 will mean Nothing...
blueridge
by blueridge  3-24-2008
Bush is not the primary problem when it comes to the Iraq and middle east wars. The problem is the neoconservatives and Israeli Lobby that will CONTINUE to influence or control U.S. government unless they are excluded from power. Election 2008 will change NOTHING about war without changing the real parties of power behind the Executive Branch and within the Pentagon and at the threshold of Congress. Of course this is why Cheney in particular is pushing to spark wars with Iran, Syria, and Lebanon before leaving office, so that a transition opposing war will not be an option, and the agenda hastened.

In case you missed it, like many of us did, Bush in a "signing statement" (i.e. Executive fiat legislation) claimed that Feds can open mail ("search and seize") of Americans under the plea of "necessity" without warrant. U.S. Missile Strike in Somalia at "terrorists"
blueridge
by blueridge  3-3-2008    2
The article states, while they were targetting "known terrorists", that even the U.S. it cannot assess the casualties or results. What kind of responsible warfare engages (1) within a sovereign country on its own accord, (2) against "enemies" it can not prove it targetted, nor (3) prove whom they killed or injured? This is contrary to the historic accepted rules of warfare for rules of engagement. Accountable warfare says you identify your enemy publicly, receive authorization from the country's legitimate government (of course there is conveniently none since a coup deposed a previous "dictator"), and are accountable for the identification of the "enemy" killed, and there must be sufficient credible evidence to prove them an enemy, not mere allegation. Those are the long accepted "just war" principles that appear lacking in the coverage of these rogue attacks within other countries.

His tenacity is an example of how to push truth against propaganda by this bull dog who will not let go of the bone he has to pick with the official story. Also, listen to him on the Charles Goyette radio show in Phoenix, AZ recently where he brings out the FACT that the FBI says Ted Olson's (who represented Bush and Cheney before the Supreme Court in the Election 2000 controversy vs. Gore) story about a cell phone call from his wife on Flight 77 is not and cannot be true! Congress Finally Challenges Bush on Spying
blueridge
by blueridge  3-1-2008
Finally the fear-mongering is being proven overblown and that there is plenty of latitude within the Constitution for even domestic spying, with a WARRANT ISSUED UPON PROBABLE CAUSE. Question: If there is plenty of means by which to conduct LAWFUL domestic spying, then why does Bush government REALLY want greater lattitude? The only answer is to enable spying without accountability or any record of doing so...against any citizens they want!

Read this classic entirely from the British MP in 2003. It details the neocon blueprint, from the Project for a New American Century, including the suspicious nature of the 9/11 "attacks". The neocon blueprint he refers to in this article was written in Sept. 2000, one year prior to 9/11, the "catalyzing event like a new Pearl Harbor" that precisely fit their own words, perfectly, to justify execution of the plan. It's plain evidence of a conspiracy, well documented. Republishing this here because too many have still not seen this or forgot about it.

The Truth about Kosovo--Independence or New Tyranny Established?
blueridge

Reagan and Clinton both had a hand in this, while republicans distrusted and criticized Clintons actions, now under GWB they have applauded the outcome. This shows the responsibility of both parties and reveals the atrocities commited in just another "operation freedom" program fully supported by the U.S.. The lies about Kosovo and justifications for war as as deceitful as those about Iraq. But the MSM will not tell you the real story, but parrot the propaganda as usual. A new world order is being established by force under the pretense of "freedom" and "democracy" which trumps true representative government by and for the people. All the wars are unjust wars, and the media is deliberately complicit in the propaganda of deception.
