POPSAmerica Becoming Land of Surveillance Despite lack of evidence that it is effective, or evidence that proves it is not from UK studies. But the security merchandisers are making a fortune and state and local governments are impulsively spending faster than a woman with a credit card: .P. Freeman said the domestic market for such systems last year had doubled over five years, to $9.2 billion, and estimated that it would more than double again by 2010, to more than $21 billion. You are paying for your loss of liberty, while they profit, which is insult to injury. It's worth wondering how many government officials own stock in security companies, which would be a conflict of interest in that lawmakers also profit through authorizing this spending.

POPSThe Israel Lobby and Presidential Candidates Article worth reading. All must bow to get elected to a higher power, which is not "we the people" nor even God. It is the Israeli lobby and radical Zionist interests that are behind the present wars. The authors of the article published a book as well.

POPSFBI: Al Qaeda May Strike U.S. Shopping Malls
Then at the end of the article this: "We have no credible, specific information suggesting an imminent attack," a DHS official said. More propaganda (from Brian Ross at ABC who appears to be the real perps favorite parrot) to "remind you" that "jihadists want to kill us every day", and the FBI has known this "for two years" but its only being reported now, because it is timely to do so. Meanwhile the Office of Homeland tyranny says "we have no credible threat" information. It would be too convenient that terrorists would attack the U.S. now when 70 percent disagree with the war, impeachment against Cheney has been introduced, and Bush's ratings at an all time low. Who would benefit most from a terrorist attack in the U.S.? Who and what agenda benefited most from 9/11? Meanwhile shootings at schools are way up, violent crimes within every state, even family murder-suicides, while motor vehicle accidents kill tens of thousands. Americans should fear each oth

POPSJoin the American Freedom Campaign -- Restore the Constitution This is a practical way through action alerts to contact Congress on various issues. Included now is Ron Pauls legislation and a call for the Senate to vote no on Mukasey for A.G. this week. Act now to save your freedoms. (This is not the same as Bruce Fein's "American Freedom Agenda", very similar name, that is more conservative, yet both are addressing presently the abuse of the Constitution. The one above has allies like ACLU and Moveon.org, which might differ on other grounds from this pledge above. The Constitution is not a partisan document and deserves to be defended by all).

POPSGorbachev: US Restarting Cold War, Threatening World Amazing quotes by Gorbachev about U.S. war-mongering. For awhile Putin and Bush were close, until the Secretary of Defense (Gates) started talking of preparing against Russia and China. Now things have changed. Note his "conspiracy" charges against the U.S. and also Great Britain. They should have read the neocon blueprint for PAX AMERICANA, by the Project for New American Century, which includes regime change for China, and another look at Russia.

POPSImpeachment Against Bush Introduced the Senate Intelligence report recently lends solid ground (see previous Clipmark): Article 1 - Creating a secret propaganda campaign to manufacture a false case for war against Iraq." Go to the Raw Story article to view the video of its introduction by Kucinich. Sad state of affairs, when a Congressman has to fight his own party Speaker to get the House to order and serious-mindedness about upholding the laws of the land!

POPSBurma Cyclone, "Perfect Storm", like Katrina Note the US, which has an embassy in Burma, and the UN, both now criticizing their government (which is targeted for "regime change" by the Bush administration), were monitoring the event well in advance. Also, notably, the storm had remarkable oddities, per experts quoted here, taking an unusual easterly course, sending it over the most populated area, contrary to the typical pattern of nature-- just like Katrina. This article and others call it "the Perfect Storm". Perfect for what? Perfect in that it targeted for maximum damage in its unusual aspects. The observations in this article are remarkable. See Clipmark for more comments on Burma Cyclone--Weather Warfare for Regime Change?

POPSConfirmed: 1 Million-plus Iraqi Citizens Killed since 2003 Invasion "Operation Iraqi Freedom"? For saving Iraqi's from tyranny, the U.S. war machine has sure killed alot of them. This research firm now has provided further confirmation of similar previous research on deaths of Iraqis. They were not "insurgents" or "terrorists" either. Unjust war is in fact murder, and blood-guilt is upon all who applauded the invasion and war, even under the meaningless slogan of "support our troops". The U.S. invasion of Iraq was a slaughter, and people should lookup Fallujah as an example of indiscriminate killings, and consider how Americans would react if another country invaded us for "regime change", and whether they would bow to occupation and invasion or plant IEDs themselves.

POPSUS General Accuses Bush Admin of War Crimes 2-Star Army General indicts about Abu Ghraib that the White House "authorized" it: the Commander-in-Chief and those under him authorized a systematic regime of torture. Alot of things have come down on the Bush administration in the last month, i.e. McClellan's book, Bugliosi's book, now this.

POPSEvidence that U.S. Military Targeted Journalists Powerful!--former Army Sgt. intelligence participant with first-hand knowledge blows the whistle, also proves the reckless disregard for spying on Americans and others, contrary to intelligence protocol and law. This is a must-hear podcast, worth listening to in its entirety.

POPSU.S. Bombed Syria, Not Israel, says Jerusalem Post Is this propaganda from an Israeli paper or true? If true then... We should DEMAND an explanation then to know why the President (sic) Bush did not get on TV and tell the American people that "today, U.S. pilots bombed a Syrian facility which we believed was being constructed for nuclear enrichment projects". At least Reagan did this when we bombed Libya and Kadafi. But this was done IN STEALTH....WE HAD TO READ ABOUT IT IN A FOREIGN NEWSPAPER, which shows the media's absolute complicity in this censorship! He did not even inform Congress, if this is true! An act of war on another country, Syria, is precisely what the secretive neocons (including Cheney) have been wanting. There is no proof to their allegation, which both Syria and North Korea disavowed (claim was N Korea had sent nuke equipment to Syria for constructing facility). THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS, which is why the story broke on Friday (news dump day)!

POPSDomestic Spying Legal? Court Rules Against 4th Amendment This is an example how one case sets precedent. The legal case is extraordinary. Yet the Constitution is not to be violated, and the previous FISA laws even permit domestic spying in "emergency", and that a warrant can be obtained post facto. Question: If there is probable cause (as this particular case might be)--THEN WHY NOT GET A WARRANT? The Constitution only forbids "warrantless" spying. No need to trample it. Here is the 4th amendment, which every American should want to safeguard, it prevents tyrannical government powers: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

POPSThe Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder by Charles Manson prosecutor and Helter Skelter author Vincent Bugliosi. Click on the video and see how serious he is about a legal case against Bush. His prosecution record is almost flawless too.

POPSElements of Fascism Increasing in U.S. "They invoke an external and internal threat in order to convince the population to grant their rulers extraordinary powers." Repeat after me the neoconservative catechism: "The greatest threat to America is radical Islam fascists that want to kill us all...they hate our freedoms". Which of course is why the government wants to take our beloved freedoms away........

POPSMajor Vote Fraud in NH Documented--Obama and Paul Victims Obama and Ron Paul were projected in several (non-media sponsored) polls to much better. It is possible for one or two polling companies to be wrong, but not all seven or eight. Before you disagree, read the whole article, there is much more documented.

POPSBritish Set to Leave Iraq, Abandoning US Occupation First the Aussies, now the Brits. Suddenly the US has no major "international forces" but its own to occupy Iraq. This is a rebuke to the Blair-Bush alliance, and the "liberal" (neo-conned) Labor Party in the UK has suffered for the Iraq scheme (note that democrats) which the people know was built on lies and 9/11 propaganda for a "war on terrorism". This puts all eyes and pressure on the US whose "international coalition of the willing" has fallen apart.

POPSRon Paul's $4.2 Million Nov 5th Money Bomb The Washington Post knew that they had to print something. Not too bad an article. This will increase his fundraising and people will now takes his positions seriously. No way this was done by "spammers". It's very real, and the neocons' worst nightmare.

POPSJune 10: National Call-in to Prevent Iran War ACT NOW! Ron Paul, Bob Barr, Lynn Woolsey and others will be taking part. Also through DownsizeDC Dispatch you can send a letter to Congress. DO IT TODAY, UNLESS YOU WANT ANOTHER IRAQ AGAIN to limit war powers to Congress alone, consistent with the Constitution.

POPSArmy Desert Rate Highest Since 1980 Not only deserters but veterans of the current wars are protesting them as not defensive wars for the U.S.. There could be then two classes of dissenters, deserters who flee and those who remain, due to fear of prosecution or what others might think, who remain until their terms is up. The dissent within the military goes drastically unreported. This article mentions dissent during Clinton's wars too, which republicans justly protested against, and Bush campaigned that he would not do the same ("humble foreign policy, no policing the world", as Ron Paul reminds them). But he has done much, much more. America is not fighting terrorists. It is overthrowing countries for global hegemony, which the neocons admit in their plan.

POPSFBI Admits Spying on Innocent Americans Using "national intelligence letters" from the so-called USA PATRIOT ACT. You are no longer a free citizen protected by the Constitution, but a criminal or terrorist suspect. Note how "credit reports...phone records...internet traffic" are among things admitted to. Your credit report has your entire financial and life history on it. This is why REAL ID must be resisted entirely, as well as the extra-constitutional Gestapo-patterned Office of Homeland Security. The founders always warned that "necessity" is the tyrant's plea, the usual justification for breaking constitutional restraints on government.

POPSMcCain Disqualified by Constitution, Birthplace McCain was not born in the U.S.. It would be stupid for the republicans to nominate a candidate that could be Constitutionally invalid or challenged. Funny though, while dissatisfied, the pundits are defending him. Why? Romney is still in the wings....unless maybe they do not want to win the White House. Seems like the "powers that be" are making certain that a Democrat will be next in the White House, to fool the people that "change" will take place. It was always Democrats who led the U.S. into World Wars, every time, while promising not to. The case of Goldwater in the article is not as strong as the argument against McCain, because Arizona was a US territory, and under governance. If you think about it, McCain is less qualified that an illegal immigrant's child who was brought across the border for its birth!

POPSDocstoc: Clipmarks for Documents! I thought my title was better than their own description, "Youtube for documents". Their's is hype, mine is more accurate. This suggests also that Clipmarks programming could be applied to various fields in like manner, for various applications. I would like to see Clipmarks expand their capabilities like this so we could post or embed actual legal (legislative) briefs that could be scrolled right from a blog, making reading and reporting online a great deal easier, and pdf in particular easier to reference in a blog post. (A Firefox addon for pdf files to view as html also exists). (Just let me share if this idea becomes profitable!)

POPSIraq War Purpose Revealed: War for Permanent Bases It was not about 'terrorists", it was about the neoconservative blueprint for a "new middle east" that required permanent millitary bases. This shows the pretext was a lie, and consistent with the Project for New American Century's own policy paper written in Sept. 2000.

POPSFlorida GOP Debate: FOX Distorts, Won't Let You Decide As is shown with Ron Paul, both the Media and the republican "establishment" CFR republicans must cast aspersions on the candidate who adheres to the Constitution, since they will not be bound by it. The "powers that be" want to continue the neoconservative's "war on terror" (middle east Democratic Jihad), and will employ whatever tactics necessary. Ron Paul wins again in FOX poll and Giuliani got ripped (deservedly) by Fred Thompson who compared his positions to Hillary, who Giuliani has been trying to contrasts himself from. Ron Paul is increasing, Giuliani and the CFR republicans decreasing. Ron Paul finally told the listeners that many polls do not even include him. The media are not reporting, they are deciding for you, and attempting to manipulate the outcomes.

POPSTexas Sect "Abused Teen" Caller a Fraud Obviously this woman is not a teen. The Texas authorities requested her arrest documents to be sealed, the article says at bottom. Why? So that the truth would not disturb their legally questionable procedures. The AP got it unsealed, but everyone is pretending as if it does not matter. The pattern of this woman in her fake calls of abuse suggests a conspiracy to make false accusations in order to justify inflammatory claims and proceedings.

POPSHomeland Security Expanding Big Brother Homeland Tyranny, where everyone is suspect. End of freedom, unless people resist, making use of nothing less than the Constitution and Bill of Rights, through law. This is all contrary to the 4th amendment and presumption of innocence, to electronically "search and seize" every person without a warrant.
