"My First-Hand Experience with Gov't Spies"
    blueridge
    by blueridge  7-21-2008
America's new government, including the states, in action: Thanks to the Freedom of Information Act and the ACLU, we now know that "Lucy" was only one part of a vast, insidious project. The Maryland State Police's Department of Homeland Security devoted near 300 hours and thousands of taxpayer dollars from 2005 and 2006 to harassing people whose only crime was dissenting on the question of the war in Iraq and Maryland's use of death row.

Book Review: ID Crisis, The Abuse and Tyranny of ID
    blueridge
    by blueridge  7-11-2008
Give your Congressmen, governor, and state legislators a gift to restore sanity and liberty against REAL ID and the increasing total surveillance society. Remember the security merchandisers are lobbying them all everyday, selling their products at the expense of your liberty. This, along with the Constitution, is your ammo to fight back. Educate them with hard facts that refutes the effectiveness of ID methods as a means increasing security. Harper is the leading expert on countering ID propaganda.

    America Becoming Land of Surveillance
    blueridge
    by blueridge  6-25-2008    10
Despite lack of evidence that it is effective, or evidence that proves it is not from UK studies. But the security merchandisers are making a fortune and state and local governments are impulsively spending faster than a woman with a credit card: .P. Freeman said the domestic market for such systems last year had doubled over five years, to $9.2 billion, and estimated that it would more than double again by 2010, to more than $21 billion. You are paying for your loss of liberty, while they profit, which is insult to injury. It's worth wondering how many government officials own stock in security companies, which would be a conflict of interest in that lawmakers also profit through authorizing this spending.

Many UK studies have concluded same. But as with this article they always try to justify it anyway, despite the enormous cost of installing these police state grids. Let your state and local authorities know that not only do they trample the 4th amendment (treating all citizens like criminal suspects, without probable cause), but they do not deter crime or even catch many criminals. The "security merchandisers" are busy reaping profits from the trampling of your liberties by seducing authorities with the latest toys and technology.

Chertoff Wants to Israelize US Airport Security

Big Brother expansion while he signs an agreement with Israel (can he do that?) to "share technologies". Chertoff holds dual citizenship and is part of the neocon-Israeli fifth column revolutionizing America into a police state. I wonder how much the Israeli companies will profit from this "sharing". By the way, what threat of terrorism? The probabilities are microscopic in comparison to crime or traffic accidents, yet we bow to the most extreme and expensive measures, none of which would stop a real suicidal terrorist? Everyone is treated as suspicious, and we call it "freedom"? But don't worry, you will be treated as well as a Palestinian in your "homeland".

Arizona State Senator(R): 9/11 Controlled Demolition
    blueridge
    by blueridge  5-12-2008
Her commentary appeared in this newspaper. She makes a well sustainable argument that cannot be denied has merit. • The theory that the buildings collapsed due to controlled-demolition explosives, however, is consistent with scientific principles and the facts. The “demolition” theory, in fact, is the only one which scientists have been able to corroborate. That is, “… all observations are in accord with the use of explosives in a time sequence.” (Legge and Szamboti, December, Journal of 9/11 Studies.) The events of 9/11 led immediately to the creation of the Department of Homeland Security and passage of the Patriot Act (what double-speak), both of which deprive us of Constitutional rights and have brought us to the brink of becoming a police state. Homeland Security is currently trying to force a national ID card down our throats, although some governors have politely (or not so politely) told Secretary Michael Chertoff where he can go.

Welcome to propaganda in "real time", acted out to reinforce and justify more of the same. Between total surveillance and this it does not look or feel like freedom, but fascism, and it is. Americans are more of a threat to each other (read crime statistics) and the mathematical probability of terrorism is microscopic in comparison. So all this is for NOTHING BUT SHOW! Architects and Engineers Respond to WTC Inquiry

Richard Gage is a formidable and reputable architect who has established this increasingly powerful group challenging the official story of 9/11. Undisputed Facts Point to the Controlled Demolition of WTC 7. The evidence for the Twin Towers also points to the same. It is irrational, from a physics standpoint, to believe otherwise. The official story of 9/11 is the foundational premise, still, for an entire foreign policy of "regime change" and domestic agenda enabling an anti-constitutional police state that is "altering our way of life" (as we are told "terrorists" want to do). Show the truth of 9/11 and the entire neocon agenda collapses into rubble. The website for Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth is here.

Sounds like propaganda to me. People are noticing, they only feel impotent to stop it. They need to get raving mad about it, and fight it now (beginning in the courts and thru law) before it gets embedded. Government usurps more power every day while Americans watch American Idol and entertain themselves to death (even Clipmark trivia), and are becoming like animals in a zoo, where "freedom" is very limited and controlled. Indolence leads to slavery. Only vigilance and zealous action leads to liberty.

Cowardly Congress extended the anti-constitutional legislation for 2 weeks before it expires so they can work on a "compromise" with White House to permit domestic surveillance on any Americans who make phone calls, emails, IMs, etc. internationally--without a warrant or probable cause. It is a deceitful provision and is UNNECESSARY in order to protect Americans against the mythical "terrorists" (who have not attacked in over 6 years). THE GOVERNMENT HAS PLENTY OF POWER WITHIN CONSTITUTIONAL RESTRAINTS TO PROTECT AMERICA. Email and write your Senators and Reps NOW and tell them NOT TO EXTEND the Protect America Act and to obey the Constitution like they swore to when taking office! Legal Argument Against Surveillance and Homeland Tyranny
    blueridge
    by blueridge  1-6-2008
The expansion of surveillance camera, which record "free citizens", particularly on public roads and intersections is on the increase while Americans are distracted by frivolous entertainment, sports, and trivial pursuits. It threatens our very liberties and will not go away unless it is directly and forthrightly challenged based upon the supreme law designed to restrain such government encroachments imbedded in the Bill of Rights in the Constitution. I just researched this document and found it a very compelling legal argument, presented by a law professor in an open forum to the Dept. of Homeland Tyranny (aka Security). It is well worth reading, passing on, and making use of in your own city, state, and county governments to defend your freedom from a rising fascist police state that represents Totalitarianism under the plea of "security".

Domestic Spying Legal? Court Rules Against 4th Amendment
    blueridge
    by blueridge  11-17-2007    1
This is an example how one case sets precedent. The legal case is extraordinary. Yet the Constitution is not to be violated, and the previous FISA laws even permit domestic spying in "emergency", and that a warrant can be obtained post facto. Question: If there is probable cause (as this particular case might be)--THEN WHY NOT GET A WARRANT? The Constitution only forbids "warrantless" spying. No need to trample it. Here is the 4th amendment, which every American should want to safeguard, it prevents tyrannical government powers: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

The U.S. already has implemented these air travel laws against Europeans, so now they are seeking the same against Americans and others. You are a suspect if you travel by air, despite the complete lack of quantitative evidence to support their own outrageous "conspiracy theory" that "terrorists are determined to kill us all" (see my clipmark on the book "Overblown"), therefore we must bow to Fascism and like it "for our own good". Either repeat the words, "I love Big Brother"--1984, G. Orwell, OR rebel against this, tell your government that you are not afraid and do not want this kind of "protection"; they can return to constitutional "probable cause" with a search warrant if they want to frisk, search, and data-mine you as if you were a criminal suspect. No one is "free" anymore. The "presumption of innocence" is now gone, unless the people retrieve it again, which will require their demanding it.

National ID cards, new travel restrictions, passports (with chips) for Canada and Mexico, REAL ID, Homeland Tyranny (aka Security), etc.. Time to reign in this government before its too late. NOT ONE GENUINE "TERRORIST" OR "SLEEPER CELL" HAS EVER BEEN FOUND IN THE U.S. SINCE 9/11. (Although 60 to 120 Israeli spies, per Fox News report in 2001 were. But Michael Chertoff had them released). It's getting worse, and fast. Recommend the full article by Paul Craig Roberts, who was an economist in the Reagan Administration and strong conservative credentials as a columnist. The creeping police state and waste of tax payers money. The "terrorism" and "security" merchandisers are pushing this techno-tyranny on your local governments, including schools. Now "convenience" is being used to sell all kinds of biometric passes. Americans are being "trained" (from childhood up) to passively accept all this and labeled "paranoid" if they protest, but they keep expanding it, and none of this is cheap. It's not necessary. It's a waste of taxpayers money. It's a means of control. They want to expand it. Refuse to do anything that collects information on you, particularly your own body.

    OVERBLOWN: The U.S. Over-reaction to 9/11
    blueridge
    by blueridge  10-21-2007    1
You remember about the boy and the Emporer's New Clothes? Well the professor who wrote this book dares to stop the irrational over-reaction and insane wars and put the "terrorist threat" into statistical perspective that no one can refute. Multitudes more people die in traffic accidents in a year and you have (statistically) more chance of being killed by local criminal acts than from "Islamic jihadists that want to kill us every day". This book refutes the fear-mongering and propaganda, and is the rational basis for repealing the anti-constitutional and tyrannical laws that have been coerced through Congress by the mantra that "911 changed everything". No, it only changed what the government told us, which is full of lies. This book also is the basis for refuting most of the agenda proclaimed by the 2008 Presidential candidates (except Ron Paul) who want to continue down the road from freedom to fascism and their global Democratic Jihad for "regime changes".
