POPSPostcards from Auschwitz These photos teach us an important historical lesson: that there is no line separating humans from monsters, a single being can be both, simultaneously. Contrary to the common presumption, you do not lose your humanity simply because you dehumanize others. Even our worst enemies and the most hideous criminals are startlingly normal people. If there is a difference between the good and the bad, it must be that truly good people do not think themselves above being capable of true evil. When we lose sight of that, when we begin to presume our own righteousness, declare those who differ with us irredeemably mad or evil, and excuse our own transgressions on account of our own faultlessness, who is to say that we are any different from these people?

POPSCanada Hears What The U.S. Censored at Emmys Only in the U.S. was Sally Field's comments about war censored as being inappropriate for audience ears on Fox. Here in Canada, where CTV ran the broadcast, her full comments were heard, and believe me, nothing at all of a sexual or inappropriate nature was said by Ms. Field. The word that Fox cut was goddamn. But, according to the FCC, goddamn is NOT a banned expression from broadcast TV. What the hell is going on in the states that free speech is so under attack?

Neither jet fuel nor the burning contents of the buildings could cause the towering steel structures to fail. Yet molten steel “like a foundry” was found under the smoldering rubble. # Tests have shown that cell phone calls cannot be made at altitudes over 4000-8000 feet, as cell towers are located on the ground. Commercial airplanes fly at 30,000 ft. and above. No passenger cuold havew successfully placed a call for help by cell phone from these altitudes on 9/11 as reported. # 9/11 was very quickly declared an act of war by President Bush. Also the rubble from the twin towers was carted away and the steel sold then shipped overseas without examination or investigation on the physics of the collapse. Removing evidence from a federal crime scene is a federal offense. # Enormous profits were made by insiders on plummeting stock prices of the 2 a
